My gut has been churning for a long time now...I have become depressed and no longer see any humor in anything. All I can think about is what deep trouble we will be in if this isn't stopped. I am so angry which is not my nature.

I too have felt since January 1, 2000, we were in for trouble. It was not the troubles they expected with computersor such, but it was this underlying "feeling".

I have been bothered since Bush Sr. was in office and he kept talking about the "New World Order", this really unnerved me then, and I was young and for the most part people usually are kind of oblivious to politics in their earlier 20's. The reason it bothered me so much is that his statements always smacked of a One World Government and I don't know about the rest of you, but I believe in prophecy and that reeked of it.

What I do know, is although things may be "mapped" out for Americas future, prophetically speaking, we still have the here and now to take care of, while we're all alive and kicking. No matter if you actually knew the future, you still have to do what is necessary to fight for the moment you are in, because there is no time line on this earth that is written in stone, and even if some diabolical secretive leader has a blueprint of world domination in his mind, we still have to fight and pass that fight on to other generations, it is the ONLY thing standing between us and sure destruction, when you do nothing about "something", thats when "something" usually happens.

Many leaders have come and gone, that hoped for world domination (Hitler for one!!) and we have come through, we will again, and no, I was never a cheerleader, but it is by pure faith I base my assumptions. It is the only thing we truly have in this world.

JJ, we really liked Ross Perot a LOT too. Wasn't his common sense way of thinking great ? How about those charts he used !! Remember ?!!

I'd like to see George Bush with a chart !! He would never lower himself to a chart !! He should try it, at least he'd get our attention again!!

WHO pays attention to him anymore ? We ALREADY know what he has to say. Nothing that we want to hear !!

Don't worry gofer, you'll get used to it.

AmericanElizabeth, I think you're right and God wouldn't expect or want to see America go down without a lot of noise, and we're making quite a bit of it.

LegalUS--I am just laughing my head off remembering those CHARTS!! AND, don't forget the "sucking sound" of all of the jobs being sent offshore. He was dead on about that and I voted for him and would vote for him again if he would run. I guarantee that, if the Bush campaign machine hadn't "played dirty politics" with Ross Perot by threatening his family, we would still have JOBS in this country for AMERICANS.

The point about the two major parties making it just about IMPOSSIBLE for a third-party candidate to get enough support to win an election is a very good one. They are just never going to be able to raise the money necessary to conduct a viable campaign. It's a terrible commentary when the truth is that every vote is bought and paid for by these two "machines" known as the Republican and Democratic parties. Maybe the time has come that the government should allocate a set amount of money given equally to any viable candidate and I KNOW it's time that these special interest groups should be SHUT DOWN. As long as we have those groups, the possibility of electing a candidate not affiliated with either of the two major parties is just about impossible.

Yes, it took my son over a year to talk me into watching "Farnehiet 9/11".
I had a huge gut feeling when I saw it. It wasn't good. Since Bush's first election I have refered to him as the "anti christ" and people have thought I was kinda nutty since I rarely talk in extremes like that about religious points of view. But he is what was predicted would come.

Then the United nations has all but fallen, after all their scandels became exposed. Another bibical prediction. And Iraq...

I have spoke to my eldest son twice now about the issues at hand right now. He ignored me and my email of links the first time. The 2nd time I got way more serious as to were this is going. He went to the links and voted in all the polls and sent off the letters to politicians. He may still think I am just getting old and to hyper over this. But one thing he does know is he has never heard me get this political, ever. And he knows I am convinced that this is far more serious than the majority think it is. I told him "this is big" and the other shoe hasn't dropped yet.

Corporate powers were predicted in a series of books by "Mary Summer Rain". She fortold that everything would end up owned and controled by corporations and saw it coming down to 3 or 4 ruling the entire world before it is said and done.

No matter what your belief system is, one thing I can tell you for sure is in the years to come things are going to change a great deal for America. We are on the brink of something very big. And that is why our frustration is running so high on all this. Cause everyone is treating what we have to say as though we are "chicken little". And everything you may define evil as, is sitting in the White House for another 2 more years. That we have 2 more long years with him, scares the hell out of me. This is not about political party, it is about the person we have as president. He is the anti christ.

From were I sit, the biggest mistake we can make is to disband after this issue is resolved. Organizations who have formed not based on politics, but rather preserving our laws and our rights will have to remain active and unified to deal with whatever is coming next. Because that will be the only way it can or will be fought is bia partician. Literally operating as government watchdogs.

For years now they have been programing Americans in that Japanese/chinese mentality to become nothing but working drones and follow their lead. All in preparation for that "world order". Our teachers even condition our children with it. Don't tattle, don't whin. Don't say a word if you see something wrong or have a wrong done to you. If you do then you here some 20 year old say "stop whinning".

I am going to adopt the "Mad Max" mentality much to their chagrin. Yes "the sky is falling, the sky is falling". And if they dont want to hear it or see it then I'll be on my way, step aside. I will never be their mute drone.

    P.S.
LOL i voted for Ross Perot too! Loved that old bugger. Yes i agree there should be x amount for each party to run and thats it, equal tv time etc.

Jezzabell: I only have one disagreement with your post, it is impossible for Bush to be an "anti-christ". Frankly, I think your giving him to much credit and attributing his behavour toward being a smart person. My view is a little different...he is a bumbling idiot, plain and simple! I heard him give a speech and misquote the results of what the American people wanted as he tried to convince us we didn't want illegals harmed, deported, or mistreated. He isn't smart enough to do the things a good president should...I wish during the next election, we had about 5 or 6 choices!

Oh yeah: Deport all illegals, regardless where they come from!

It does seem things are moving at a very fast pace under this administration.

You have to look at what has happened.

The increased flood of illegals. He has not only looked the other way, he has encouraged it. He has actually made speeches about how 'hardworking, etc., etc., ' and he called people 'bigots' that had a problem with illegals. He has refused to beef up the border patrol.

The illegal situation has diluted the strength of America, it is bankrupting Americans, destroying our education system, our healthcare system, and actually made so many Americans live in actual physical fear.

Then we have the huge number of jobs being sent overseas. The middle class is slipping downhill very fast. Middle class people, for the most part, made it on their own. They have/had a sense of independence. That is going.

Let's don't talk about the Patriot Act. Folks, it's much more than checking your library card.

How about the ban on a media corporation owning all the media in an area and on how many outlets they can own, in general. So if you live in an area, all of the news you get can come from one large corporation. It could be the same corporation that owns that cable news company, etc.
Talk about controlling the flow of information.

Right now, the internet is fairly free. But under the guise of 'child pornography' and 'national security', I think we will loose more and more freedom of the internet. Now, no one can be for child pornography, but the government has a history of masquerading some pretty scary things under the guise of 'for the children' or some such feel good reason.

    Things are moving very fast.

As for the PC. It began before the tobacco thing. During the 60's and on when the country was in the grip of the civil rights movement and the changes that brought about, the federal government jumped in and took control of so many things in our life.

Our school superintendent taught us civics. In 1956, he told us that segregation would be fine and was way past due. He said American people would handle it and handle it well. He said the problem would be the federal government would take control of our schools under the guise of civil rights - and that would be the end of good education in our country. He was right.

The government has taken control of so many things under the umbrella of civil rights, education, crime, drugs, national security etc. etc.

They effectively convinced people that 'state's rights' is really just buzz words for 'segregation'. They did a good job on that. It is hard to convince people they would have much more control of their lives if they only had to go to their state government to make changes, instead of attempting to make some difference in Washington.

Everything now is run from Washington. There is very little chance of our being able to 'petition our government', when it is such a behemoth way up there.

Our representatives in Washington have little contact and very little concern what goes on in their own state. They are up there representing the interests of the people who give them money.

Oh, I didn't mean 'free' of spying and tracking - never.

But, what I meant was so far, there haven't been many 'restrictions' put on the internet - not like other forms of communication and commerce. You know those 'safeguards'?

They are trying in every way they know how. I think they will use child porn to puts some limits - I think they will use national security to put some limits. Not sure in what way - but they are resourceful - not necessarily subtle - but they get the job done.

Then, of course, there is the untaxed commerce going on here that is really upsetting the government(S), especially the state and local governments. They have been trying for a long time to come up with a way to enforce sales tax laws on the internet. That will be another way to control and keep track of us.

I think they might put the 'restrictions' or 'safeguards' or whatever on under the guise of collecting owed taxes.

Personally, I do everything by the book in the tax department - seriously I do.
