I also checked out rally's in the area so I can make sure to avoid those places, traffic will be a nightmare.
I was wondering if online shopping would make a difference.
I know I will be grocery shoppin on-line today. We wont have delivery until thursday, but I think they charge my credit card at the time I place my order.

Grocry shopping, getting a tune up and new brakes on the car, we have to repaint the whole house after the illegals our contractor screwed that up,(paint is washing off the outside of the house, and the walls they said were painted were just primed) so I guess today is a good day to buy paint. Good day to buy new carpeting and tile for the house too...that all has to be replaced after what the illegals our contractor hired did to our house. Pool supplies, and stock up on dog food.....after that we will be worn out so will go out to eat.

Sounds like you all have a great day planned. I'll be walking around today seeing who is closed or short-staffed. Getting Names and Addresses.

Just coming to work this morning, I saw a construction site without workers. I'm going over there to find a contact. My private student and I will be walking around together to see what's going on in the "high end" shopping district here.

I'll definitely be buying some new clothes today, if I can find a store that is not short-staffed or has messy bathrooms due to no help. We will be stopping for lunch so I will be able to check out the help situation.

BTW - I will post these links here for American-made goods. Those of you shopping on-line may want to check them out.

I'm a marvel~~~I got up at 4 this morning...had the groceries in my 6:30..Jim was off to the tractor place to get the equipment by 7....I went to the nursery early while it's still cool...will wait for a bit before going to shop for clothes...most stores don't open until 10 anyway....then off for lunch about 1 or so...gotta pick up Cokie and bring him home before lunch...he hates going to the groomer...

This has gone much faster than I thought it would...three cheers for 'advance' shopping and knowing just what I want and where...

I'm going shopping. Are there any particular stores that I should avoid ? I know we have our lists here, but if someone can tell me here real quick I would appreciate it because I need to leave in about 15 minutes.

Hey Legal, Target, Home Depot, Sears, Walmart are some of the biggies. If you go on www.wehirealiens.com you can type in the stores you are going to and see if they are on the list without having to go through the whole list. happy spending

I'll go to Toys R US and Penneys. Okay ? I have to run. Wish me luck. I'm not used to being forced to shop.
