Poverty Stricken Mexicans Flood Europe for the World Cup
So I'm bored and soccer is on. Just what I need to get some flash backs of my childhood when umbra and addidas were popular and I kicked balls on the U-12 team. I turn on ABC to see a gripping contest between Iran and Mexico it's 1-1 with 15 minutes to go.
Suddenly Mexico breaks out a score to 1up the Iranians and the crowd goes insane, almost like they were in Mexico. Startled I began to scrutinize the attendees closer then the camera man zoomed in and panned along the stadium. 85% was covered in Mexican flags, sombreros and shirts. I thought mexicans were dirt poor. Isn't that why they cross the border by the hundreds of thousands every month?
The announcers start talking about how Mexican fans and the press are irate that two non-mexican born citizens are starting on the country's team. They are both now citizens but have been enduring negative press in their new home country.
Then a second Mexican goal this one was assited by one of the foreigners who moved to Mexico to play soccer (argentinan I think). I could hear the hispanic announcers all over the US and Mexico screaming GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! But this raises some serious questions. What message are Mexican citizens trying to send by their dominating pressence in Germany?

And what really sucked was, there was a Adidas commercial about two boys playing a pickup game and not a single word of english was spoken.....

Maybe a few hundred thousand will stay in Europe...
They are not acquainted with sportmanship...I think their teams should be disallowed to play anywhere.

YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT SOMETHING YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND AT ALL!!!!
FUTBOL , SO CALLED SOCCER HERE IS A PASSION OF OVER 600 MILLION PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD, WE ARE ALL HERE IN ALIPAC TO SPEAK ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, NOT ABOUT THE BIGGEST AND MOST POPULAR SPORT IN THE WORLD, THE KING OF ALL SPORTS !!!!
WHEN IT COME TO THIS , THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT UNFORTANELLY THE UNITED STATES IS BEHIND THE WHOLE WORLD!!
GREAT STRIDES HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE LAST 10 YEARS , BOTH BY THE MEN AND THE WOMEN TEAMS OF THE US. lets keep up the good work.
This Sport has no limits, borders, colors or flags. and it's universal.
You talk about poor Mexicans, they are not there, cannot afford it, the poor ones are crossing the border illegally now as we speak, wealthy latin Americans do not come to the States, they live very well in their home countries, their goverment is exporting the poor to the US, the rest are exploited by them, in their extremely low waged factories.
They do not invest monies into improving the conditions or opportunities for the rest of the country, IT'S CALLED GREED!!!!!!!!
ME, ME, ME, ME, AND ONLY ME, ALL FOR ME, THAT'S THEIR ATTITUDE, YOU CAN TALK ALL YOU WANT , I LIVED IN SOUTH AMERICA , I KNOW FIRST HAND, I SEEN IT . I LIVED THERE!!!
SO ENOUGH SAID, LIVE FUTBOL ALONG!!! AND GO PATROL THE BORDER!!I will always Stand by the Eagle, I will never betray the Eagle, I am loyal to the Eagle!

They wouldn't last a week after the world cup is over and all the foreigners go home. Germany uses national id cards and they would be stopped and arrested if they don't have them.I will always Stand by the Eagle, I will never betray the Eagle, I am loyal to the Eagle!

Actually the United States isn't behind the rest of the world in this issue, we just aren't all that interested in Soccer like we are in other sports, Soccer is a cool sport, but we would rather watch blood and guts American FOOTBALL instead, where there is good old fashioned contact on the field, not in the stands with thousands of maniacs turning on eachother and ripping the stadium apart seat by seat. Its just a matter of taste in my opinion. Football and Baseball are All American sports that are in our history and our hearts, we grew up with them, some people live and breathe sports, I'm not one of them, but I know a few. So its not that we're behind on the sport of soccer, they have tried to make it mainstream here a few times, but we just don't really care to take on another sports league. Again , thats just my opinion.

Jubilant Soccer Fans Celebrate In Huntington Park
(CBS) HUNTINGTON PARK, Calif. Jubilant soccer fans streamed onto Huntington Park streets after Mexico's 3-1 World Cup victory over Iran.
About 100 fans streamed onto Pacific Boulevard, causing the California Highway Patrol to close its intersection with Florence Avenue.
"It seems to be a focal point where everyone tends to be drawn to, so we are restricting traffic flow," said CHP acting Sgt. David Nelms, adding that the similar past gatherings have "stopped being peaceful."
Soccer fans jammed several establishments to watch Mexico play Iran. La Raza 97.9 FM out of East Los Angeles sponsored viewing parties at Leonardo's Casino, also known as Club La Boom at 6611 Alameda Street and at El Gallo Giro at 7148 Pacific Boulevard.
Police had to wrestle for control over rowdy soccer fans in years past. Dozens were arrested in 1998 in the wake of Mexico's victory over the Netherlands.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn
