Thread: A Question That Won't Go Away About the President and 9/11

As we celebrate our nation and all the Patriots of our Past, a question has been on my mind on and off all day. It's hovered around for almost 4 years, and certain findings about illegal immigration, the end of our nation, the role of this President...this question has resurfaced several times in the past 3 weeks and just simply hovered today and won't go away.

Here it is:

On 9/11 the President was in Florida planning to read to the school children. Before he went in to read to the children he was informed about the plane hitting the first Tower in New York and decided to go ahead with his program. We all assumed at that point in time that it was a commerical airliner and that something had gone terribly wrong.

18 minutes later, the second plane hits the second Tower. Andrew Card, White House Chief of Staff who was with the President in Florida upon receiving the news of the second plane went into the class room and told the President the following one sentence:

"Mr. President, America is under attack."

That is all he said and walked away. The President continues to sit in the little chair and finish reading to the children for about 8 minutes. Then rises and proceeds to leave the class room and leaves the school. He then flies around the airwaves on Air Force One until they determine a safe place for him to land which turned out to be an air force base somewhere.

The President carries with him at all times the suitcase that triggers our nuclear defense system.

Based upon the single sentence of information transmitted to the President, "America is under attack", how did the President know that we had not been attacked with a nuclear bomb by China taking out Los Angeles requiring immediate nuclear defense retaliation and activation of that system by HIM as President of the United States and the only person authorized to activate it......unless he knew that it was just a plane hitting the second Tower not requiring any action by HIM?

Andrew Card has stated what he told the President. There is no reason to doubt that statement. Most people would have said, "Mr. President, another plane has hit the second Tower in New York." But, he specifically chose the words, "America is under attack".

The first question on any President's or American's mind hearing those words would be: Is it a nuclear attack? Then What City or Cities?

The President did not ask any questions about the nature of the attack. He did not ask any questions about whether or not he needed to activate our nuclear defense system.

He continued to read to the children for 8 more minutes. Enough time for any enemy with nuclear capability to take out every major city in the United States without any retaliation on our part; activation of our nuclear defense system to intercept incoming missiles; or any other offensive measure to disable the system in the country having made the attack.

There is only one reason the President would continue to read to the children having just been informed that "America is under attack". He already knew the nature of the attack and knew that it required no action by him.

Until 3 months, I was so supportive of this President that I defended that action of just sitting there "gathering his thoughts", not wanting to upset the children. But I didn't connect the dots until today. Our conversations on this forum about China, refreshed my mind about our nuclear threats. Somewhere I read recently and was reminded that China has a system targeted at Los Angeles that would take out the entire city. I believe this was part of the recent noise the Pentagon is making about the "massive" military build up in China.

How would the President of the United States know that no action was needed by him on 9/11 as he read to the children with regards to activating our National Defense System having only been told "America is under attack"?

I can not reconcile this. Can anyone else?

When we consider the abandonment of the rule of law by President Bush concerning illegal immigration; his agenda to combine nations with Canada and Mexico concerning illegal immigration and security reforms; his agenda to pass CAFTA and another wave of illegal immigration with Central America; his attacks on the Minute Men only trying to stop illegal immigration; and so many other bizarre stances...this behavior on the day of 9/11 creates more questions and raises even more concerns about this President--who as you know I know believe is a true Maniac and would do anything to forward his agenda to end our nation.

As a former military officer, I will tell you that from a tactic and stragegy side, the WTC planes into buildings thing was BRILLIANT. Just like General Sherman burning the south, not just Atlanta. Bush and Bin Laden families go back a long ways. I would not put it past "W" to have enlisted Bin Laden to do it. Dick Gregory was told on 10 September 2001 not to go to New York by French intelligence agents. Bush KNEW.

The "eyes" did know. I agree with you 100%. In fact, when I saw the film of him, I knew he knew, but I assumed Andrew Card had told him. I found out much later when I saw an interview of Andrew Card on one of the talk shows what he said. HE DID NOT TELL HIM. All he said was "Mr. President, America is under attack."

SO, he knew. He knew all along. That's why he didn't do anything that a normal person would do hearing the words "American is under attack."

There really is no doubt about that now. How could he know in advance without being part of it? There is no way.

Also, there was an Israeli group that rented offices in the WTC and they got "wind" of something and told everyone to stay away from work for that entire week. So they knew something in advance as well. As a result they all survived. I couldn't figure out why Israeli Intelligence wouldn't share that information with us. They probably did. Why would they not?

My God....and that hole in the Pentagon...it was not caused by a Boeing 757. He hole is 16 feet wide and a 757 is much wider than that and what happened to the wings? The wings should be there. And the field in Pennsylvania....no debris....nothing....just a crater. THAT doesn't happen when planes crash....there is debris everywhere but no debris in PA. And the WTC...no plane debris and the buildings imploded...they came down exactly like a professional building implosion.

So the President knew. So he was obviously part of it. For the pipeline for UNOCAL...the same company that China is wanting to buy now that Afghanistan is a free nation; free of the Taliban; everything all hunky dorey and READY FOR BUSINESS. And, the President hasn't said a word about THAT. We send American Troops as advance men to liberate a nation so China can have one of our largest oil companies with oil reserves all over the world and sensitive defense technologies to boot!!

Sixx and Judy- Its always been questioned. His eyes did give him away. I hate to think that it could have been a plan. I started to believe that something wasnt right, as soon as he made it clear that muslims are peaceful people with a peaceful religion. Then he declares war, botches up Afghanastan and Iraq, and we will have our military there forever.
All the while, he honors islamics by throwing dinner parties, and continues to defend them as 'peaceful' people. This person is not well, and needs extreme therapy at once. He also needs to be impeached!
I think that one day, someone is going to slip up and tell the real story. I can almost bet that no one in the Bush family had any relatives or friends, that were killed or injured on 9/11.

And if you look at the Pentagon, there are too many trees on the eastern side of the complex. The "plane" supposedly came from the East.
Not ONE SINGLE TREE was took out. A plane comes in low enough to hit a building of this sort and not a single tree was hit? An Eastern approach from a aircraft of this size traveling at the speed that it would have had to been traveling would have taken out every tree in sight.

While all other commercial and private air travel was grounded, the Bin Laden family were allowed to fly out of the nation with military escort planes.

For so many people, it seems that criticizing the Commander-In-Chief is sacrilege and un-American... Fortunately, I think that some of that irrational support of the President is gradually thawing... Every now and then, someone comes on this forum suggesting that we shouldn't be so critical.

Though we respect the Office of the President, we need not respect the President himself... For all our elected leaders, we must scrutinize them and be very skeptical of their words / intentions / actions, especially in this age of skulduggery in the highest levels of our government, corporations, media, and non-profit organizations... To do so, is patriotic and necessary for the continuation of our country.

By the way, there's a guy (Karl Schwarz) running for President who contends that the Bush buddies either provoked or caused 9/11 in order to get the oil.

Don't forget the actual damage to the pentagon. The dimensions of a Boeing 757. It has a wingspan of one hundred twenty four feet. It's tail from the tip to the ground is forty four feet high. Its the length of it is about one hundred fifty-six feet and it weighs anywhere from eighty to one hundred tons. Now look at the hole in the Pentagon before the roofline and the facade crumbled there are plenty of pics available on the net, the windows, the initial hole was only fifteen to eighteen feet in diameter. So, how can this huge hundred ton airplane fit inside that eighteen foot hole? Is it possible? A 757 has two jet engines. Now these jet engines are very, very tough pieces of equipment that do not disintegrate very easily. They would go through and cause two holes, one for each engine, to the sides of the main hole. Not one. For me it just doesn't pass the smell test. Just like flight 547 that came down shortly after 9/11 on Staten Island NY. They claimed the tail broke off in a wind shear. The tail was found with the rest of the wreckage, but the left side jet engine landed in a Chevron gas station 3.5 miles away with pieces of the left wing. The only pieces of the plane not found together at the crash site were left wing pieces and the engine, so how the heck did the tail break off?
