I notice that reporters don't ask politicians questions about the illegal immigration. I saw the debate between Menendez and Kean in New Jersey, and no one mentioned illegal immigration, and I know that these two men a pro-illegal.

I really haven't watched a lot of the interview type shows - except Lou Dobbs in quite some time.
Reporters haven't been asking politicians about immigration for a very long time. It is a fairly recent thing to even mention it.
If someone who did not know, had read, listened to, saw our media and politicians, you would have thought we had no illegals - or if we did, we were all just happy as a lark about all those 'hardworking people just looking for a better life'.

I would certainly hope that Sessions would consider a run for president. He seems to be an intelligent, well spoken competent guy, more than a one issue person.
The supposed front runner McCain has ticked so many people off that people would look for an alternative.
I'll tell you, if McCain is the republican choice, I'm not voting. I'll rot in hell before I'll vote for that weasel.<div>Thank you Governor Brewer!</div>

Based on this article today, it sounds like Tancredo might actually be thinking of running.
