Ted Cruz Slams Black Lives Matter’s Rhetoric, Lefties Freak Out

Remember this? It was about six weeks ago, which is eons in social-media time, but maybe it’ll ring a bell.
“Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon!” Maybe they meant something else?

Ted Cruz just commented on this kind of crap from these “peaceful” activists, so let the wailing and gnashing of teeth begin. Kira Lerner, “Think” “Progress”:
At a campaign stop in rural Iowa on Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz told ThinkProgress that activists with the Black Lives Matter movement — people who have been peacefully protesting the murder of black men and women by law enforcement — are “literally suggesting and embracing and celebrating the murder of police officers…”
“If you look at the Black Lives Matter movement, one of the most disturbing things is more than one of their protests have embraced rabid rhetoric, rabid anti-police language, literally suggesting and embracing and celebrating the murder of police officers,” the Texas senator said. “That is disgraceful.”

B-b-but… BLM is peaceful! If you don’t count all the violent rhetoric, that is. And all the actual violence. Forget about Ferguson. Forget about Baltimore. And forget about all the people who are going around shooting cops just because they’re cops. Total coincidence, all of it.
