Thanks Dixie. That is where the bleed over is coming from. Anything on the major network sites?

Lets all stay focused on the Countryman story for now and we will address this problem with Tancredo and Paul soon.

    IMHO;
We can't count on any election being acurate. The powers that be will see to it we will never see the man we elect. Our entire voting process is now rigged and we no longer have a republic. They allow the voting to happen only as a formality.

Add the percentages of the entire vote up--it doesn't add up to 100%--sloppy and censored if you ask me.

Let me add some additional info being that I'm at 'ground zero' (Clackamas County OR) with respect to the Gamboa/Countryman murder.

    1. No - I have not seen any NATIONAL mention of the Gamboa(s) with regard to the Dani Countryman murder. There may have been some done in very limited doses, but if so, it has gone largely unnoticed (IHMO).
I have seen a LOT of local coverage, and even some rather GOOD coverage via a regional cable news outlet (NWCN - for those interested: http://www.nwcn.com)

    2. I also agree that this case needs to be pushed through our various contacts to be front and center regarding illegal immigration/criminal aliens.

    3. I do "know people" (well, more accurate is probably 'know people that know people') that work for the Clackamas County Sheriff Dept. - and at least those folks confide to me, that, yes, they too do not like the 'don't ask don't tell [read de facto sanctuary county policy; well, a statewide policy to be more precise...]. I understand that most officers would like to be able to address the citizenship status question - if, and only if, resources were available to do the job properly. A strong argument and/or plea for 287(g) program??? (Hey, Waukegan can do it, why can't we???)

Link to local Sheriff Dept. involved here: http://www.clackamas.us/sheriff/
Public Information Officer is Detective Jim Strovink (I have lodged an inquiry regarding this situation with him, but have yet to hear back - I'll post an update if/when I do...) Anybody that wishes to chime in and ask some questions, well, feel free/be my guest. Number posted on media / news release web site: 503-237-2643. I tried, but only get an automated paging system answer. Try one of these numbers if you want to go through the operator-run switchboard: 503-655-8218, 503-655-8865

    4. Many thanks to W for following up on this important story. It has gone under the radar too much already. Sorry also for being too dam$ed busy to help Mod/Admin on the boards - I wanted to say that in public.

    5. Let me say that I feel so sorry to the Countryman family that this happened while Dani was visiting my county. Law enforcement should have had those guys identified and had their rear ends booted out of the country a long time ago. If there is any silver lining to this tragic situation, it is that people here will mobilize to get our 'all-too-prone-to politically correct behavior' local government to get off their collective arses and start doing to correct thing to protect the local citizens.

Thanks again. Apologies for the long post.

There is NO OTHER REASON. Like a previous poster said CFR --- the agenda..

Look at the T.V capture below... seems odd that the ONLY TWO (top or second tier presidential candidates) who oppose the CFR and want very enforced immigration reform who finished 4th and 5th are COMPLETELY OMMITED HERE on FOX NEWS: T.V news censor? Uhmmm Yeah.

Where is Tancredo and Ron Paul???? Why aren't they listed..? Curious isn't it?

    This has been happening CONSTANTLY!
Holy Cow Brightnail! Thank you for showing me that. That is AMAZING!

Do you have that image stored somewhere where you control it and how can we verify the authenticity of the image?

    W
I would be surprised if that is NOT ALREADY on youtube or myspace. This image and others over the weeks are very available on all the ron paul forums..

    1. ronpaulforums.com (mysterioulsy crashed about the same time the diebold machine had to be recounted, its still down) --> very big forum for ron paul

    2. ronpaulforum.com (singular - no s)...

Check out this image: This shows WHAT the presidential candidates polled during a survey.. the differences.. what you do not see here is that they initially said what they probably will get and what they actually got.. Ron Paul got a 2% on the initial poll but garnered almost 10% after the actual poll -- where is he in this image??? very strange.

Also, I seen this with my very OWN EYES. The DES MOINES registrar newspaper with a circulation of hundreds of thousands had a HEADLINE on a story for Ron Paul.. it was something like this.. though not exact.. "Ron Paul IS FOR AMNESTY" <--- That was in a MAJOR newspaper 3 days before the straw poll. I seen it. If you go to his site and read ANYTHING about ron paul, he is flat out against amnesty. There were also ads running on the radio that were saying "ABSOLUTELY NO TO AMNESTY" (thanks to yours truly heheheh).... AFTER HUNDRES OF EMAILS and CALLS, the Des Moines Newspaper retracted the online story at the end of the day and put a blurb in the next days paper - a retraction.. you know how retractions are... VERY VERY LAME and OBVIOUS SMEARS GOING and OUTRIGHT LYING GOING ON.

    F. Thompson IS NOT EVEN A CANDIDATE at this point. McCain, Ghouliani and Thompson finished dismally so WHY ARE THEY FEATURED HERE!!!!!

Nothing in Greensboro News & Record or Winston Salem Journal.

USA Today online refers you to oregonlive.com among others.

and so on...most articles seem to be focused in OR, TX media.
Some posts on FreeRepublic and other forums.

Another story that appears to be 'shelved' is the Chelsey Powers killing in Winston Salem NC back in June (I think it was). A couple of hispanics were being held in the shooting death of Chelsey and seriously wounding another kid who was standing in the yard with her. I contacted Dan Galindo on the WS Journal several times trying to get him to find out the citizenship status of the accused. He responded but kept telling me the authorities had not released that information. I do not know the race/ethnicity of Chelsey or the other teen who was shot.

Police had opportunities to deport suspect in girl’s killing

07:01 PM PDT on Friday, August 10, 2007

    Associated Press

PORTLAND - Two cousins accused of killing a teenager during her visit to Oregon acknowledged entering the country illegally from Mexico, a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement official said.

    KGW graphic

One of the men, Alejandro Rivera Gamboa, 24, went unnoticed by immigration officials even though he was arrested twice on drunken driving charges since 2000, The Oregonian newspaper reported.

He and 23-year-old Gilberto Arellano Gamboa were arrested this week in the death of 15-year-old Dani Countryman of Kaufman, Texas, whose body was found late last month in an apartment southeast of Portland.

Oregon law prohibits local police from actively searching out illegal immigrants, but the rules change when foreigners land in jail. If local authorities find reason to believe the person is deportable, they may notify Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

At the same time, immigration officials search local jails and flag inmates who may be in the country illegally.

"We can't cover every jail in the United States," said Lorie Dankers, an immigration spokeswoman, noting that her agency also relies on local law enforcement officials to notify the immigration agency when they get inmates with questionable residency status.

In Rivera Gamboa's case, immigration officials have no record of contact after arrests, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, in 2000, 2003, and twice in 2006.

After their arrests in the murder case, the cousins told a federal immigration officer they have been in the United States illegally for about six months, Dankers said. According to state records, Rivera Gamboa obtained an Oregon identification card in April 2006.

In Clackamas County, where hundreds of jail inmates are released early each month because of overcrowding, illegal immigrants could be booked and released before immigration authorities ever get a chance to speak with them. It is unclear how much time Rivera Gamboa spent in the Clackamas County Jail, but a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving likely wouldn't have kept him there long.

Lt. Mike Alexander, Clackamas County jail operations manager, said local law enforcement officials are also limited in how much they can pursue federal immigration questions.

"If (inmates) choose not to tell us, we don't have any protocols that allow us to go forward," Alexander said.
