He may not end it Tuesday. either. If the back-lash is Republicans joining Democrats in Congress to pass a Dream Act, he may keep DACA which is preferable to Dream Act legislation.

Trump pledged immigration crackdown on Day 1. Nothing announced yet.
Trump's first 100 days: the analysts' view

January 23, 2017
On the campaign trail, President Donald Trump made promises that he would swiftly ramp up immigration enforcement and undo former President Barack Obama’s policies.
On his fourth day in office, Trump has yet to announce any changes or actions specifically regarding immigration.
Trump promised that on Day One in office, he would start work on the wall with Mexico, and that he would take action against “at least two million criminal aliens now inside the country.” So far, he has signed at least four executive orders, and none had to do with immigration.
“Day One, my first hour in office, those people are gone,” Trump said in his Arizona campaign speech on immigration.
In his 10-point immigration plan, Trump also said he would cast aside Obama’s two executive actions that allowed certain unauthorized immigrants to apply for temporary deferment of deportation and work permits.
While one of those actions was struck down in court, the other — deferred action for childhood arrivals, or DACA — has given more than 700,000 people in the U.S. temporary protections, which University of California San Diego researchers say has benefited the economy.
Trump’s plan also said he would “end sanctuary cities,” suspend visas to places he felt “adequate screening” could not occur and ramp up immigration enforcement in the workplace.
Trump signed an executive order on Friday targeting the Affordable Care Act. On Monday, Trump signed three executive orders, one pulling out of the Trans-Pacific trade deal, one freezing federal hiring and one barring federal aid to groups that provide or promote abortions overseas.
None of the executive orders are posted to the section on the White House’s website meant to house such orders. The White House press office did not readily provide copies of the orders after The San Diego Union-Tribune called on Friday and Monday.
Trump’s administration has also taken action on an Obama policy that would have reduced mortgage insurance premium rates. Press Secretary Sean Spicer also told reports on Friday that he planned to send out a memo that evening calling for “an immediate regulatory freeze.” Details on the freeze were not clear, and no further information was available on Monday.
Trump on Monday tweeted his focus for his first full week in office, saying, “Busy week planned with a heavy focus on jobs and national security. Top executives coming in at 9:00 A.M. to talk manufacturing in America.”
Press Secretary Sean Spicer was asked about immigration on Monday, and his response was, “For now the focus is going to be on people who have done harm to our country.”
Spicer said immigration will be high on Trump’s list of legislative priorities.
“It’s not just building a wall, it’s how do we enact policies that make sure what we have now doesn’t happen again,” he said.
In terms of whether the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals executive order will be canceled, Spicer deferred to the legislative process, saying, “We don’t have anything in front of us to sign on that.”
Spicer was asked about this. He said Trump would be taking care of things listed in the contract in “short haste” but would be sequencing them.
In his contract with the American voter, Trump said, among other things, that on his first day he would cancel DACA, cancel “all federal funding to sanctuary cities,” begin removing more than 2 million “criminal illegal immigrants” and cancel visas to countries that won’t take them back, and “suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur.”
“If we put them all out on one day, they get lost in the ether,” he said.

It is a contract between myself and the American voter — and begins with restoring
honesty and accountability, and bringing change to Washington.
On the first day of my term of office, my administration will immediately pursue the following:FIRST cancel every unconstitutional executive action,
memorandum and order issued by President Obama.
Has any claim been made in a court of law that DACA 2012 is unconstitutional? No
Has any court reviewed the DACA 2012 and ruled it unconstitutional? No
Have courts reviewed the DACA 2012 as part of another lawsuit against DAPA and Expanded DACA and ruled
DACA 2012 to continue in effect? YES (Federal District Court, 5th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals and US Supreme Court)
Do prosecutors and agencies have prosecutorial discretion under the rule of law of the United States? YES
Does DACA 2012 fall within that discretion for DHS? Yes
Do work permits issued by DACA 2012 fall within that discretion for DHS? NO!
Does Congress have the constitutional authority to approve the issuance of work permits to illegal aliens? NO!
Does any federal court have the constitutional authority to grant work permits to illegal aliens? NO!
No branch of the federal government has any authority under the US Constitution to take the food off the table or the roofs over the heads of US citizens and hand them over to illegal aliens of any age or circumstance whether with work permits, welfare, education, tax refunds, tax credits or any combination thereof.

You're absolutely correct on this. There has been no actual court action that would have prevented President Trump or his Secretary of DHS from ending DACA! DACA is not law, it was created by memorandum. A lawsuit regarding DAPA and the DACA extension has been ruled on in court, not DACA. There has been no ruling on the program because there has never been a lawsuit on or involving DACA. Don't listen to the misinformation being passed around to justify Trump's failure to end the program because there has not been and isn't anything that prevents or has prevented the Trump administration from ending DACA.

The Texas lawsuit filed by 26 states attempted to secure an injunction against DACA 2012 during argument on the injunction to stop DACA Expansion and DAPA, Judge Hanen denied the request and further ruled that DACA 2012 will continue in effect. This was in his Ruling that was upheld by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the US Supreme Court.
And that is a fact and a matter of public record all the way to the United States Supreme Court.

Judge Hanen said DACA was "likely" unconstitutional. However, he did not make a ruling on DACA because it wasn't actually part of the lawsuit. The "continuing in effect" only meant that he wasn't ruling on DACA since it wasn't part of the actual lawsuit. Absolutely nothing in the lawsuit prevented the Trump administration from ending the program at anytime.

No, he ruled that DACA 2012 would continue in effect, based on the Jeh Johnson 3 year renewal of 2014, because it was a program already in effect, already in motion, a program that people were already relying on in good faith, and of a much smaller scope than the much more expansive DACA Expansion and DAPA which were not yet implemented. The DACA memorandum of 2014 was the renewal of DACA 2012. By ordering it to continue as renewed, Hanen said quite clearly that this portion of the DACA Renewal of 2014 was valid and therefore upheld the 3 year 2014 DACA Renewal. He ordered an injunction to stop the DACA Expansion and DAPA programs and also ordered the DACA 2012 renewals of work permits be cut back to 2 years instead of 3 year work permits, except for the some 36,000 3 year permits that had already been mailed out. It's a 95 plus page ruling, very detailed, very explicit, all of which was upheld by 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the US Supreme Court.

You can't word smith or twist the facts to bail Trump out of the mess he has created for himself with his broken promise.
FACTS: there is nothing that prevents President Donald Trump from ending DACA at anytime he so chooses. Trump has broken his promise to "immediately" end DACA after his election. Those are the actual facts and all the other information you're using in an attempt to obfuscate those simple facts is just wasted energy.
Trump has weaseled himself into a very dark hole on DACA and any attempt to make excuses for his actions on the program is a lost cause."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

MW, you've made yourself clear that you hate Trump no matter what he does or when he does it. If he'd ended DACA day one and been sued 1,000 times over for violating a court order and been hit with a restraining order, you'd be beating him up for rushing it.
I would like to point out to you that your flagrant posting against Trump makes our forum look anti-Trump giving him no pause or reason to meet our demands, since even if he does, you aren't going to appreciate it anyway and will continue to call him a dishonorable betrayer of the American People for the next 3 years. You seem to miss the whole concept of lobbying which is what our organization is supposed to be. To lobby, you coax, inform, convince and remain close and in return for doing what you would like them to do you assure them of your support. You're doing the complete opposite. Unless someone in a political position sees some gain for doing what you want them to do, they will generally ignore you and do what they want or would have done without your input.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan
