Thread: Trump Hands the Chinese a Gift: The Chance for Global Leadership

LOL!! Why are people upset with having China as a leader on Climate Change? Let them lead. We have a bankrupt beleaguered nation, $20 trillion in debt, 94 million of our working age population out of the work force, 62% of Americans with less than $1,000 in savings, 75 million people on Medicaid, 44 million on Food Stamps, and 60% of K-12 students in public schools on free-school lunch. America hasn't been leading with the Paris Accord or anything else, we are falling and failing.

Yes, after the Election Day of November 8th, the Power of Trump gave US a boost, a bump, a step up the ladder and back into hope for a better future. The Power of Trump has given us stock market records, commitments by industries to produce in America again, promises by Republicans in Congress to repeal/replace Obamacare and pass Tax Reform, reductions in illegal immigration, deregulation, and a more efficient production based economy.

But this will not last if we don't follow-through and fix or reverse the policies that caused our dire situation to begin with. This Paris Accord was not in the best interest of the United States. By withdrawing, we are now in a secure and sovereign position along with other policy fixes to soar again. In other words, the Paris Monkey is off our backs. What a relief.

And if carrying foreign monkey agreements on our backs is the benefit of being a "global leader", well, no thank you. You can keep it, you can put that monkey on China's back or Germany's back or Versailles' back or the Vatican's back or any other back you want, and let them be "global leader". Then we can take turns laughing at them. Reminds me of the cereal commercial "Lets Get Mikey to try it."

Meanwhile, we're free, the way we're supposed to be. Isolated? No, just free and taking care of our own country like we're supposed to do. "Try it, you might like it."
