Pence, you're VICE President, not President. You didn't get Trump elected. We did, now sit down and shut up. Look at the huge commotion you've caused over Mike Flynn because somehow you miscommunicated or misuderstood or couldn't suffer having made a potentially erroneous statement on Sunday Talk Show. Number One Lesson, when you go on the air, you speak for yourself or a known policy, you don't conduct hearsay on national television. If they wanted to know what Flynn discussed with the Russian Ambassdor, you should have said you need to ask General Flynn.

Wow, your complete mischaracterization of what happened between Pence and Flynn would do CNN proud.

You have no idea what happened between Pence and Flynn. All I know is what I saw Pence do which was go on Sunday Talk Show, Face the Nation, and tell the network "Flynn assured me that there was no discussion about lifting sanctions."

Flynn was reported telling a newspaper he may have discussed keeping "our guys" in Russia but not lifting sanctions on Russia.

To this day, we don't know what Mike Flynn said or did not say to the Russian Ambassador during his phone call on December 29, because it was a private conversation and this is the United States.

Pence meant well, but he didn't understand he was being set-up by the CORRUPT MEDIA, because whatever he said Flynn said or didn't say, the "Leakers" were going to plant a story to contradict it.

Mike Flynn is getting the shaft and Pence unwittingly contributed to that, escalating the maelstrom. The only thing Flynn did wrong was take those two calls from reporters. One a couple of days before he resigned, and then the last one just a couple of hours before Trump asked for his resignation.

There was nothing wrong with Flynn talking with the Russian Ambassador about anything under the sun. Flynn was free to talk about sanctions, diplomats, the weather, climate change, Syria, friendship, better relations, drilling the Artic, Crimea, Ukraine, NATO, North Korea, any damn thing he wanted to talk about. This is what free speech means in the United States.

It's shocking to me that our media and apparently some others don't understand that. And when you state what someone else said to you about what they said to somebody else and then go on the TEE VEE and try to assert what was said or not said to you about what was said by someone else to someone else, that is called HEARSAY in the United States, it's rumor, it's gossip, by definition.

Pence should have never discussed rumor or gossip on Face the Nation. He should have not done that. He should have just said, you need to ask Mike Flynn about that. He needed to say that was a private conversation I was not a party to or privvy to and can't assert anything that was or was not said or in what context or purpose anything was said because I wasn't part of the conversation and do not know.

Mike Flynn is one of those Americans, like me, who wants to see a new and improved relationship with Russia because it's in our national interest to do that. It's a shame that a brouhaha over an illegal wiretap on Mike Flynn followed up by illegal leaks about the conversation with the Russian Ambassador created this maelstrom in the media, worsened by Mike Pence's unwitting forced error on Face the Nation, have led to Flynn's not being part of this administration. Flynn may have some issues, but his conversation with the Russian Ambassador wasn't one of them.
