Trump needs to clarify DACA eligibility - as it is written it goes WAY BEYOND those brought here by illegals as children

DACA - it includes all sneakers with the below criteria. Sick of hearing the lies @ sob sob babies brought here years ago when it is meant to sneakily encompass all under 31 in this country illegally - that has nothing to do with being a baby brought by parents. Albeit there are those in that classification but the deceit is that it means many, many more amnestied and have a right to be here taking jobs, reproducing on our tax dollar.

DACA MEANS THIS:
"Individuals who meet the following criteria can apply for deferred action for childhood arrivals: are under 31 years of age as of June 15, 2012;

• came to the U.S. while under the age of 16;
• have continuously resided in the U.S. from June 15, 2007 to the present. (For purposes of calculating this five year period, brief and innocent absences from the United States for humanitarian reasons will not be included);
• entered the U.S. without inspection or fell out of lawful visa status before June 15, 2012;
• were physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012, and at the time of making the request for consideration of deferred action with USCIS;
• are currently in school, have graduated from high school, have obtained a GED, or have been honorably discharged from the Coast Guard or armed forces;
• have not been convicted of a felony offense, a significant misdemeanor, or more than three misdemeanors of any kind; and
• do not pose a threat to national security or public safety.

Applicants will have to provide documentary evidence of the above criteria. In addition, every applicant must complete and pass a biographic and biometric background check"

CNN is reporting that an Executive Order on DACA will allow it to expire, maybe 6 months so that the illegal aliens don't think they are being deported immediately. The six months will allow for Congress to do something.

I believe that Congress will only give us amnesty. Billions of dollars spent and so many American lives have been hurt by this illegal alien population. Any idea to allow them to keep taking is wrong.

Samuel Rodriguez, a pastor, said that he was not for Trump and many in his community were fearful they would be deported. He mentioned a conference call with the Trump Transition Team on DACA , etc. and felt much better. So he agreed to participate tomorrow.

If he feels better about DACA and the illegal aliens getting legalization, how should we feel?

Send out the word everyone. NO DEAL!! 6 months would allow many to leave before being deported, too. Trump will veto a DACA bill, I really think he knows it's not the right thing to do. But for now, he has to be:

1. Inaugurated
2. Confirm his Cabinet
3. Get his Plan in Action

To do this, he needs peace, not protests, riots and violence.

I agree Judy. No legalization. If you legalize any group there will be coat tails to allow others to stay or to be sponsored. Paul Ryan and Graham and McCain and Durbin and Gutierrez will not limit amnesty to certain number of millions. Just like 1986.

If the illegals are given amnesty they will always feel entitled. The ethnic organizations will continue to thrive, more demands will be made. Favoritism will continue.

Judy, I thought about the six month period allowing them to leave but I think the younger ones will stay and fight. They have their network of agitators and supporters and lawmakers.

I would like to see our cities emptied of illegal aliens. What a difference it would make, the billions of dollars that would be saved, the criminal activity that would go away, the insults to Americans that would cease, the demand for bilingual language, etc.

BORDER WALL

Trump is expected to sign an executive order in his first few days to direct the building of a wall on the southern border with Mexico, and actions to limit the entry of asylum seekers from Latin America, among several immigration-related steps his advisers have recommended.

That includes rescinding Obama's order that allowed more than 700,000 people brought into the United States illegally as children to stay in the country on a two-year authorization to work and attend college, according to several people close to the presidential transition team.

It is unlikely Trump's order will result in an immediate roundup of these immigrants, sources told Reuters. Rather, he is expected to let the authorizations expire.

The issue could set up a confrontation with Obama, who told reporters on Wednesday he would weigh in if he felt the new administration was unfairly targeting those immigrants.

Advisers to Trump expect him to put restrictions on people entering the United States from certain countries until a system for "extreme vetting" for Islamist extremists can be set up.

During his presidential campaign, Trump proposed banning non-American Muslims from entering the United States, but his executive order regarding immigration is expected to be based on nationality rather than religion.

Looks like he's going to cancel asylum for Latin American countries. Let DACA expire in 6 months, then starting "rounding up these immigrants", another article posted earlier said he was cancelling "catch and release", we know he's going after all the criminals which will include despite what some think is anyone who broke a law, visa overstays, and start the wall. I don't think we're going to be disappointed. I think we're going to be blessed with a President, the first in over 40 years who puts Americans First, all day, every day, every which way.

We'll see.

So many good things. We will not be disappointed by those things listed other than the DACA. The DACA expiration turned legislation can be the Trojan Horse. They can say it is just for certain illegals, limited number, but the rest piggyback on in whether they leave and comeback (Touchback) or stay.

David Gergen (CNN) pointed out that ending DACA, letting it expire, would cause disruption on campuses. I guess they will demonstrate and complain and the campuses will give safe spaces and crayons.
