Thread: We need an "American" president

I sure hope so, Gadfly. My greatest dream, next to having my husband bet back from Iraq in 2008, is to see an election where every RINO incumbent, every socialist turncoat liberal, and every traitor in between in thrown out of office on their butts.

These people, and our media, will have us all believe that they are SO elite, so high and mighty, SO famous, SO powerful -- well, they still are only as powerful as we will let them be. Unless they're voted in, they can all just return to being regular Joe's like the rest of us. I'm tired of media spin, I'm tired of the biographies and the profiles trying to convince us of how great all these people are when in reality, they're a bunch of greedy self serving jerks.

We need AMERICANS in office. People who want to serve Americans. I believe this country CAN Be turned around, but it will take the right leader to save us from this third world scourge that is upon us. Just vote, everyone -- inform yourself as well as possible. We know who to vote for President -- but we need to check out the congressmen/women, the senate, the judges, all the way down to the local supervisors ... they're ALL influential once they're in.

They can be outsted early, we Americans NEED to get together & stop being panzies.
I see soooo many online petitions being signed yet nothing is done.

I'm voting this year, for the first time since Nixon. That was a big mistake. So they'll be tally'n my vote to outs the turncoats.

Your post was spot on! Thee ruling elites in this nation (business, media and political) have only as much power as we give them, nothing more. They cannot continue to control us, unless we let them. Now that we are awake and recognize their lying, treasonous nature for what it is, we have every reason to hope that we can defeat them!

I wish it was that simple. I am to the point where I truly believe that between the MSM and Lord only knows who else, they can manipulate an election to get exactly who they want in office (or at least, who they let us choose between in the main election). Has anyone heard about the Diebold voting machine problems? These machines can be programmed to do exactly what their handlers want them to do. In the Iowa straw poll, the machines were manipulated to allow Romney to win and to push out Paul and Tancredo. Think that can't happen in a national election? It won't have to because enough of the primaries can be rigged so that we are only given the choices that "they" want us to have in the national election.

Why is it that ANY of the past presidents & vise-presidents including Congress has NOT spoken out against BUSH's antics?

I believe it is such a wide conspiracy that anyone who believes it is totally ridiculed in media, and so also by people in general. But, nothing else makes sense.

Who was it used to say,"when you've ruled out everything else, the explanation that remains, no matter how improbable, has to be the truth?"

Of course, I WANT to believe we can still make a difference, or I wouldn't be here at ALIPAC, nor would I be pushing so hard for Ron Paul for President. I think he is our best hope for change.

I also second the RON PAUL for president call. I am currently a democrat, but I am registering republican so I can help Dr. Paul in the primary. Please dont just write him off as fringe, thats what the rich candidates and the media want you to do. Just visit ronpaul.meetup.com to see how big and actice his supporters are.

Step 2 - Warn your political elite we are cleaning house
Step 3 - clean house and evict corrupt politicians

Be honest when you vote... it does count... dont vote straight party lines anymore .... if these people are screwed before they become president... it will intensify when they are elected and this country will fall

I am a conservative Republican and between my spouse and I make good money... the Republicans will have to earn my trust back and I refuse to give a penny... do you hear me... I refuse to give a penny to the republican GOP until impeachment proceeding concluded, Bush is physically evicted from the white house, and you goof balls clean up your back yard

My husband and I considered ourselves conservative republicans too. We are through with the republican party thanks to Bush! I too would like to see impeachment proceedings started against Bush also. Until the republican party cleans up their act and does some house cleaning and starts representing Americans again, I'm done with them!

Please take 10 minutes and watch this video. It explains Ron Paul pretty well - mostly in his own words. He is for strict enforemcent of our borders.

I think if he does win the republican nomination (difficult), then he has a great shot of winning the election.
