    Ranchers Need Help

A lot of us live in or near a big city so you may not be aware that our Cattle Ranchers on the border are living in hell everyday. Break ins, damage to property and livestock, and threats from drug runners are just a few examples of the hardships that they face. As an American citizen, I feel that it is up to us to protect the people on the front line. These people desperately need our help. I have written to many politicians but nothing is being done. Any suggestions?

    Bring in the military

Land mines and dingos...I almost said yes to that, but maybe an armed military would be more effective.

The governors of these states have existing state and federal laws at their disposal. Push hard on these governors to visit the sites and make a public statement. Photograph and publicize the filth on any and all media outlets you can. Find citizen groups who will assist you.

Hi Shocked, I actually live in Illinois, so I can't get any photos, but I did get a list of politicians, and I wrote to everyone. I also wrote "The Beef Council" (little good that did me), celebrities, environmental groups, political talk show hosts, and a reporter. Everyone is working so hard individually, but it seems to have little effect. We all need to stick together and get our vote in the next election. If we don't get a good Presidential candidate, I am writing in Tom Tancredo's name anyway.

I don't have any land mines or dingos but a 120+ lbs Rottie sure helps out.

As long as he's a patriot Rottie, I don't see why not.

Thanks MK, I'll see what they can do. I have been keeping up with the National MM web site. They don't get as much respect from our government as I would like. Do you know of anyone who has volunteered on the border? I thought that it might be a worthwhile trip.
