Good point. Have you checked out America, Freedom to Fascism? There is a link to it in the pictures forum. The Fed and the IRS are destroying our currency. Precursor to the NWO IMO. New currency to be established, balence trade deficit etc. I forget the directors name....something Russo. He ran on the libertarian ticket in 2004. He is staunchly anti-globalist and anti-illegal immigration. Guess we can add libertarians (some of them at least) to our list of allies.

What will happen to the middle class in the USA if there are no more borders and labor can move as freely from Mexico to the US or Canada as capital does now? Do you think that perhaps wages will fall? Perhaps this won't be so good for the working man or woman? Why would liberals support something that will bring great harm to the lower and middle classes in this country, whom they claim to care more about than those evil conservative Republicans do? Illegal alien amnesty is all about doing away with borders and is the greedy Corporate Globalist's dream come true. I'm shocked that more liberals are not shouting out in anger against it! They need to wake up and read the handwriting on the wall before it's too late!

SimonB, Nobody says our laws are all pefect, but their are ways to change them with out giving 20 million lawbreakers amnesty.

This is not about Race, it just so happens that most of the illegals coming in here are Hispanic from several different countries.

Not very long ago ICE arrested 247 people in a raid those people were from 32 different countries, if we allow this to go on it will be the distruction of the United States. How many can we take in? where do you stop it?

Americans are the most giving people in the world, we have helped the poor all over the world, we give billions to Mexico every year, where does this money come from? The middle class American taxpayer.

How is destroying the American middle class going to help the rest of the world?

Illegals and over population drive down wages for the middle class, Who's going to help feed the poor around the world when the middle class of the U.S. is destroyed?

How many people can our infrastructer handle?

I could go on and will if you can answer these questions with some real solutions to all of these problems that illegal immigration causes, not to mention the rule of Law, we seem to be turning into a nation of chaos and crime!!

Is it ok for some laws to be enforced for some people and not for others?

Let me echo another posters question, what law are you referring to? I'm not aware of any law that indefinitely prevents an individual from applying for entry into the United States. It has to be done the correct way though. The reason we don't discuss the "ethical component" behind illegal immigration is because there isn't one! I know some like to paint this as a Latino issue, however, we have illegal immigrants from all over the world inside our country. Like SOSADFORUS said, just so happens that 80% of the illegals are Hispanic. I'm sure a lot of that is due to the close proximity their homeland is to ours, don't you think? Would you have us allow everyone that can sneak into the country stay without consequence? Our sovereignty gives us the right to say how many and who can enter the United States. That my friend is not bigotry, it's called smart planning!

Umm.. those 20 million are already here. are you referring to an extra 20 million over and beyond those here? I was under the assumption the new bill cuts immigration down to about 1/2 a million annually (While legalizing the 20 million here already)

Anyway, does any one else (on the left) think how funny it is that where immigration is concerned, the right suddenly pops up with environmental concerns? These are the same people who deny global warming, want drilling in the ANWR, etc. Politics make strange bedfellows indeed

Again, this is not a right or left, conservative or liberal issue...it is an Amercian issue...how else could conservatives and liberals possibly be "bedfellows", otherwise??

Maybe it's that illegal immigration offends the values of both the conservative and liberal ideals? OR...maybe this illegal immigration is such an affront to the CORE values of our existence as a nation that it has helped us focus on the REALLY important things...which all Americans agree on!?

Just as Pearl Harbor and 9/11 united the American people from all walks of life for the single cause of protecting our country...in the same way this illegal immigration, NAU, NAFTA issue is uniting Americans (conservative and liberal) to take collective action to save the soveriegnty of our nation!
