BLM Whistleblower Exposes the Clark County Land Grab… It’s Much Bigger than We Thought

When the story broke of Harry Reid's possible involvement to the Bundy Ranch/BLM land grab I was quick to jump on the story. Unfortunately, sometimes we make quick judgments without first checking all pertinent facts. As has since been exposed, the deal involving Harry Reid and ENN fell through at a later date. That agreement was terminated last summer:
A Chinese-backed company is pulling the plug on a multibillion-dollar solar project near Laughlin after it was unable to find customers for the power that would have been generated there, a Clark County spokesman said.

In a letter, an executive from ENN Mojave Energy LLC informed the county that the company was terminating its agreement to purchase 9,000 acres near Laughlin, stating that the "market will not support a project of this scale and nature at this time."

So where does that leave us?
Does that mean that Harry Reid is not involved?
Does that mean that the BLM is not involved in a land grab that involves ulterior motives?
    No on both counts.
Just because the connection that the alternative media thought to be the smoking gun has seemingly vanished, it does not mean that this doesn't have a lot to do with Harry Reid and big government tyranny.
Cliven Bundy's daughter, Shiree Bundy Cox, had previously explained that her father is simply the last man standing in an area that used to be dominated by family ranches. Neighboring ranchers were paying the BLM management fees and the BLM was providing no sort of land maintenance or improvement. This is the alleged purpose of those fees. Her claim is that the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) used those fees instead to buy out the other ranchers. Cliven Bundy refused this fate and many years later we have arrived at this point.
We know that the BLM wants this land bad, for whatever reason, and we cannot assume that it has nothing to do with solar power. One deal, with the Chinese, that fell through does not negate the fact that the BLM mentions the impact of Bundy's cattle in relation to the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone. This is a screen shot from a document that has since been deleted from BLM.gov. Look at the last bullet point:
So how do we make sense of all this? We probably won't for some time. The single Reid land deal that fell through was too easy. It seems to run much deeper than that.

Enter BLM whistleblower Rusty Hill. He exposes the fact that the Reid family has been involved in land deals all over Clark County. He also exposes the fact that there are serious anomalies in the recording of land transactions in Clark County. BLM plots are shrinking while the adjacently, privatized plots of various investors seem to be growing. There is no record of money being exchanged and no record of how this is happening. There is also the matter of the state of the art highway exchange that was put in "the middle of nowhere."
There has to be a reason for that.
Hill also reveals that the BLM purchased one 10-acre plot of land, in Clark County, for an outrageous sum of $700,000. He claims that this land has no obvious strategic importance.
The Rusty Hill interview is over 30 minutes and it is well worth every second. Hill offers no definitive answers, but he gives several possibilities and tells provocative-minded truth seekers where we need to be looking.
Don't discount Harry Reid's involvement in this deal. Just because one solar deal fell through, it doesn't mean that the scope of things was not much larger to begin with.

    Here is the interview:

[Watch] BLM Outlaws – Utah Gov Refused Bundy Cattle, BLM Violated Court Order

Posted on 20 April, 2014 by Rick Wells

William La Jeunessee reports on Fox News that the BLM made a statement on Friday night that the “illegal structures” on the Bundy Ranch, including water tanks and corrals, had to be removed to restore the land to its natural state and to prevent the rancher from restarting his “illegal” cattle business.

La Jeunessee reports that the court order under which this operation was conducted only included an “authorization” to seize and impound the Bundy cattle. No permission was granted in the order to cut holes in water tanks, knock down or damage fences, or cut water lines. Two prize bulls were also killed by in the raid, presumably by the BLM cowboys.

A family friend, Corey Houston points out in the video that one of the bulls was shot in its pen, and there was no damage to the enclosure which would have indicated the bull acting in a threatening manner. He points out that nowhere in the order does it provide for the shooting of cattle or the destruction of their environment.

The BLM has not responded to efforts by Fox to question them regarding the issues raised in this report.

[Watch] Bundy Cattle Terrorized, Killed by Govt Cowboys – Animal Rights Groups Silent

Posted on 20 April, 2014 by Rick Wells

While Harry Reid makes his statements that the Bundy family and their supporters are domestic terrorists, more questions are being raised regarding the treatment of the animals involved in the dispute.

Aside from the fact that BLM was killing the same tortoises they used as a premise under which to run Bundy off of the range land, the evidence points strongly to their unwarranted and illegal killing and abuse of Bundy cattle. Approximately 40 head of cattle were found dead in areas of the ranch which the Feds had been occupying prior to their sudden departure.

A mass grave was unearthed which contained the bodies of slaughtered cattle which are believed to have been shot from helicopters. Many others were apparently left to suffer and die in the hot sun.

According to Gary Franchi, the BLM contends that the slaughter of the animals on the open ranch land were “mercy killings,” but then one has to ask the question as to what acts created a “need” for many mercy killings.

Contrarily, Franchi reports that the tracks on the ground are consistent with those of healthy animals running in a panic. He also notes that corralled cattle were held in pens under “horrific conditions” and many died as a result of their confinement.

If the means of supplying the cattle with water had already been the target of BLM vandals, it is possible that they were being held without access to water. The video points out those animal rights groups have been completely silent on the issue of the treatment of the Bundy cattle.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has done one thing after another to make Americans question his stability. But threatening the Bundys in the wake of the biggest Federal public relations face-plant since at least Ruby Ridge, if not Waco itself, crossed the proverbial bridge too far.

    Concerning Harry Reid

April 17, 2014 by Ben Crystal

    UPI FILE

    Mr. David Krone
    Chief of Staff
To Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid
    522 Hart Senate Office Building
    Washington, DC 20510
    Mr. Krone,
Listen, buddy, we need to talk about your boss. I know he pays your salary, and I know he exempted you from Obamacare; but this is getting out of hand. I’m not sure if Senator Reid is off his meds or if twilight is falling on the old man a little faster than anticipated, but you need to start thinking about life post-Harry.
    Consider:

    • He accused then-Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney of cheating on his taxes, but he never produced more substantial evidence than hearsay; and even the hearsay itself was denied by the reputed source, John Huntsman Sr., who has denied making the accusation.
    • He detonated the so-called Senatorial “nuclear option,” thereby terminating decades of Senate filibuster tradition, not to mention making a liar out of himself.
    • He called the victims of Obamacare’s fraudulent machinations liars and paid stooges of the “Koch Brothers,” even as Obamacare revealed itself to be the largest financial fraud in human history. When his mendacity was exposed, he actually claimed he hadn’t made the statements — even though the comments are still readily available for viewing even now.
    • He funneled up to $31,000 from his campaign to his granddaughter, despite clear Federal prohibitions on such activity.
    • He intervened on behalf of Chinese-owned business interests on multiple occasions since at least 2010, when he and other Democrats finagled Federal stimulus dollars for a Chicom wind farm.
    • He personally forced the Department of Homeland Security to allow travel visas for sketchy Chinese investors in his son Rory’s Las Vegas hotel property. According to immigration authorities, the Chicoms in question were denied visas on account of “suspicious financial activity.”

But threatening the Bundys in the wake of the biggest Federal public relations face-plant since at least Ruby Ridge, if not Waco itself, crossed the proverbial bridge too far. Of all the people to wade into the Bundy ranch debacle, the most divisive politician outside the Oval Office ought to have been pretty far down the list. With the war between the Bureau of Land Management and Cliven Bundy featuring a tortured-enough plotline already, someone in your office took their eyes off the guy long enough for the cameras to record him whining, “We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it.” I doubt that’s the epitaph the Federal rustlers wanted to hear as they retreated from the standoff. I’m certain it doesn’t put the Bundys in a more cooperative frame of mind for the next round.
I know the future looks dark for you. Your party’s decision to place their own political zeal over the best interests of the Nation has left many of your friends in other Democrat Congressional offices updating their resumes for the inevitable loss of seats approaching this fall. Some of you will likely be out of work when the good Senator has to vacate the Majority Leader’s office. You might even have to go back to your former gig as a corporate stooge for Comcast. But for the love of all that is good and true, get Harry under control. He’s making us look bad.
    Oh, so very sincerely yours,
    America

Harry Reid, BLM, and Cliven Bundy
Harry Reid says that the fight between the BLM and Bundy is not over. Reid should know. The Director of BLM is none other than Senator Reid’s former senior policy adviser on land-use issues (2003 to 2011), Neil Kornze. Kornze has no prior experience in federal land management, but Reid has often described him as “perfect for the job.” Indeed, perfect for Harry Reid. Kornze’s decision to call off the cattle seizure and to stand down rather than complete the confiscation conveniently saved Reid from an enormous political embarrassment.....

You might say Harry Reid is a family man. He likes to use public office to benefit his family at the expense of yours.

Reuters reporter Marcus Stern discovered Harry Reid’s family connections when investigating an odd set of circumstances that tie Reid to the Bureau of Land Management and to Cliven Bundy, the 67 year old rancher, whose property near Bunkerville, Nevada, is in the way of Reid family plans for the Gold Butte region.

Kornze’s decision to call off the cattle seizure and to stand down rather than complete the confiscation conveniently saved Reid from an enormous political embarrassment. There is nothing like an enormous blood bath in Nevada precipitated by a Reid family land grab to stoke political flames enough to consume Reid’s weak popularity in short order. Reid knows that there is more than one way to skin a cat, and so now BLM turns to litigation as its way of obtaining judgments against Bundy that BLM hopes will force Bundy to turn over his ranch as payment.

Truth be told, Harry Reid has a long history of involvement with the BLM, peddling his influence there to achieve benefits for his family and friends. Reid worked with BLM to change the boundaries of the desert tortoise’s habitat to accommodate the planned development of a top financial donor, Harvey Whittemore. You see, the desert tortoise is only a justification against development of those who are not politically connected to Reid. Whittemore gave Reid and Reid’s Political Action Committee $45,000. If Cliven Bundy were a Reid financial backer, his fate might well be different, but he is not. Bundy opposes Reid.

Among the reasons posited by BLM in justification for its decision to seize Bundy’s cattle were two: protection of the desert tortoise’s habitat and the need for a cattle free desert to permit creation of a solar panel project for clean energy generation. The desert tortoise excuse is laughable to those resident in the Gold Butte region because they know that the few remaining ranches form oases in an otherwise barren desert and actually help keep the tortoises alive. BLM efforts to turn the ranches back to desert would likely reduce tortoise populations by depriving them of ready access to irrigated and green areas in and around the ranches. Moreover, the tortoise thrives in Las Vegas (is considered a nuisance by many there), and it was BLM, not Bundy, that euthanized hundreds of the tortoises when BLM closed the Desert Tortoise Conservation Center. BLM elected not to dedicate funds to the project and, rather than free the tortoises into the surrounding environment, BLM killed them. Quite obviously, those with political clout not only get to push the desert tortoise around, they get to kill the tortoise, but those who have no beef with the tortoise but also no ins with the Reid family, like Bundy, can be accused of harming the desert tortoise (without proof) and lose their property as a consequence.

As Marcus Stern reports for Reuters, BLM’s second justification for seizing Bundy’s cattle and driving him out of business comes straight out of Harry Reid’s play book: “Reid and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert. Reid has been one of the project’s most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project.”

Chinese magnate Wang Yusuo, with an estimated net worth of $2.2 billion, owns ENN Group. In 2011 Reid ventured to ENN’s headquarters in Langfang, China, to tour the company and then worked to get this enormous company favored by the Chinese Communist government to take on development of a massive solar energy project in southern Nevada that would endeavor to supply California with 30% of its energy needs. Wang spoke at Reid’s Fourth Annual National Clean Energy Summit last year.

Reid’s lawyer son, Rory Reid, has been instrumental in his father’s efforts. Rory helped put together the ENN deal, while Harry pushed a clean energy agenda in Nevada that included promotion of solar power, laying the foundation for allowing the Chinese energy company with ties to the Communist government in China to acquire thousands of acres of Nevada public land and build a massive solar farm on it. The ENN Group boasts that its Nevada solar farm will be the largest in North America. Do you think a solar farm less disruptive to the desert tortoise habitat than a few hundred cows? How happy do you think the Communist leadership of the Peoples Republic are in knowing that none other than the Majority Leader of the United States Senate has through family connections enabled one of that government’s favorite sons, Wang Yusuo, to acquire 9,000 acres of American soil for an enterprise that will funnel funds that might otherwise go to American business back to Communist China.

Rory Reid served as chairman of the Clark County Commission, which controls the public lands needed by ENN. With Rory’s firm pulling the strings, Clark County’s commissioners over ruled County staff and voted to sell ENN 9,000 acres of public land for a fraction of the market value. Reuter’s Marcus Stern reports that appraisals of the 9,000 acres put the value at between $29.6 million and $38.6 million, but Reid influence secured it for just $4.5 million. Not only does it pay to be on Harry Reid’s good side, and that of his son’s, it really does not pay to be in Harry Reid’s way.Cliven Bundy’s ranch is in Harry Reid’s way. Reid wants Bundy out of southern Nevada. He wants BLM to do the dirty work, to use Bundy’s failure to pay some $1 million in ridiculously exorbitant grazing fees and penalties as justification for confiscating Bundy’s cattle and shutting down Bundy’s ranch. Then, unencumbered by 900 head of cattle roaming over territory to be industrialized, in will step ENN and transform the desert wilderness into a massive solar energy farm with solar panels cooking the already hot desert into an electrical zone capable of satisfying 30% of California’s energy needs.

Marcus Stern reports: “To advance the Nevada project, ENN retained the state’s largest and most prestigious law firm—Lionel Sawyer & Collins, where Rory Reid works.” Since January 2011, Rory Reid’s firm has been the primary advocate of ENN’s interests before Clark County government. Although the County authorized the fire sale of the 9,000 acres to ENN, it did condition the sale on ENN coming up with customers. That proved difficult, so in stepped Harry Reid. In an online chat, Reid vocalized his desires. He wants Nevada’s number one source of power, NV Energy, to become ENN’s customer.

Harry Reid epitomizes the worst in politics today. He uses his public office for private gain. He is willing to destroy the lives of others to advance his interests and to use the clout of his office to influence the conduct and actions of BLM, where he has stationed a trusted source, his former long-time aide, Neil Kornze, available to do his bidding. To quote Thomas Jefferson (from his April 21, 1803 letter to Benjamin Rush): “. . . law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of an individual.”

The Bundy Ranch Facebook page, run by Cliven Bundy's daughter Bailey, posted a photo late Saturday night with the caption: "Digging up 1 of the HUGE holes where they threw the cows that they had ran to death or shot. I feel that this NEEDS to be put out for the public to see."

    7:42 PM - 19 Apr 2014

Nevada Republican Assemblywoman Michele Fiore previously told Breitbart News on Friday about the practices she has heard the Bureau of Land Management has engaged in when confiscating livestock from ranchers.

"I have literally gotten e-mails from ranchers across Nevada telling me that the BLM does the same practices when they are herding horses. The foals are getting killed. Horses are getting killed. It’s really horrible and cruel. I don’t know any other term than cruel,” she said. The GOP Assemblywoman called BLM's actions a "felony" and in a recent tweet below, she said:

    http://www.breitbart.com/InstaBlog/2...828_Breitbart+

The BLM was not ordered to KILL the cattle. That seems to be a violation of the court order.
