Balboa's account is now suspended for a minimum of one week, perhaps permanently for the following reasons.

1. Violation of our rules where it says " Do not question moderator actions on the open boards until you have tried to resolve your question via Private Message. "

2. Open complaint about our boards and encouraging users to go elsewhere.

3. Not responding to moderator efforts to address concerns.

4. Sending a hostile message received tonight by one of our moderators.

Let me make this very clear. Our moderators are human just like anyone else but they work damn hard without compensation to make these boards available to everyone.

Over 95% of the people that post at ALIPAC never need any moderator intervention or warnings, but for those that do we expect a maximum amount of respect for these volunteers.

Without them, this part of our website would have been shutdown or gone to strict admission rules a long time ago.

Our boards are a highly public place.

When you post here, you should picture yourself on stage with a spotlight on you. In the audience there are people that agree with you and enemies waiting for any chance to destroy us or worse.

This is not a place for people to vent and feel better about having spouted out their feelings behind a fake name on the web.

This is a work area and this area is for people that have maximum respect for each other fighting side by side in this cause.

For prior rule violations he had received final warnings.

For violating our rule "Do not question moderator actions on the open boards until you have tried to resolve your question via Private Message. "

And for taking a swipe at Bren after I asked for the users above to disengage. He even posted that he would disengage, but did not hold true to his promise here.

Let's hope we do not have to suspend or ban more.

Thanks Phrede. After the demeaning things said about "Evangelicals" on the site last week I'm giving it a break. Checking the News section and PM's but that's about all. Got an email from someone about this announcement. So I thought I'd check it out.
