Thread: Does Your Town Have Illegal Aliens?

Just curious if your town has large numbers of illegals, or only a few, if any? Anyone know of a town or county where there are barely any illegals, either residing or working there?

There are about 107,000 in Tarrant County.

There are some rural towns in Illinois that have none, nada, zero.

No need to talk about the numbers where I reside.

Some towns in Iowa and Minnesota.
Cities and areas having meat processing plants are just the opposite.

It's estimated that one-third the population of Waukegan, IL is illegal.

Do you believe that Waukegan, IL has a high percentage of LEGAL Latinos, as well? Or, would that population be like 5%, for example?

Our of the 1,484,311 Hispanics in Harris County (Houston) probably half of those are illegal. That doesn't even account for the huge number of other countries that are here including, Chinese, Vietnamese, Arabs, Greeks, etc, etc. We have plenty. The most obvious are Mexicans and Central Americans

Good question. Waukegan is about 45% Hispanic so that leaves 15% legal.

This town has a substantial amount of low income, low rent property so the landscapers and construction workers that work in wealthier suburbs to the south live in Waukegan. We've noticed quite a few properties for sale recently which we presume to be an indication of illegals moving away due to the town's application for 287g. That might be a big assumption but . . . we're hopeful.

As far as I know the following states have the lowest population of illegals;
Maine, WV, SD, ND, Montana and Wyoming.

Apparently, they don't like severe winters.

Southern Idaho has about 35 thousand illegals...potato country

I am from Northern Idaho there are no illegal Hispanic's or Latin Americans here or lets say we are a town of about 40,000 and maybe 1 tenth of one per cent (maybe) are Hispanic/Latino don't know if they are legal or illegal , could be some illegal Europeans My next door neighbor is Canadian and has been here 29 years on a green card, owns her home.

I think one reason is we have no ag jobs here and no factorys or manufactureing jobs although Buck knife moved here a couple years ago.

We are only 30 miles from Spokane Wash they have more than there fair share but its Wahingtion what can you say, they encourge it. One of the states still giving drivers licenses.
I have seen Landscapers from wash,. come here to work and pretty sure their employees are illegal, not a word of English.
