Last night Glenn Beck had a segment about Vallejo, CA. It is on the verge of bankruptcy. It will be the first American city to go bankrupt. They have overspent, just like the nation, and the state of California. The state can't come in to bail the out. This city could collapse. It is also highly Hispanic. I think its high time to tax, the hedge fund guys as well as the others who manage to escape by those funny little laws that somehow just ignore them. Let them begin to pay a fair share, instead of building up tremendous wealth without a care in the world.

I hate to admit it but I'm also in the process of leaving California.

Main reasons are the insane leftist PC politics at almost all levels, think Berkeley and Marines... The very high cost of living (average older 3br home still about $700,000!) the neverending mass of uncontrolled illegal aliens, and of course the looming large tax increases needed to pay for all the social programs imposed by our PC Socialist state government. When and if they ever build the border fence, I'll suggest they build the fence between California and the rest of America...

They are not in denial. They have just been brainwashed with so much guilt for being well off that they feel they are obligated to give it away. Quite a few people here don't have any children so they can pay for the illegals who have half a dozen, and they seem fine with that. They are self hating whites.

I'm one of those Californians who is educated and makes a good living, but cannot afford to have one child, yet I have to support every illegal invader in this state who believes in uncontrolled breeding!

You see them walking down the street EVERYDAY. One or two in tow, one infant in the stroller, and usually one in the oven.

I guess Arnie is at a point in his life where he is feeling guilty about all that money he made making those stupid Terminator Movies and now he feels obligated to give something back to every illegal invader that rolls into town. No doubt he's also being encouraged by the Kennedy clan who are the champions of giving other peoples money away while retaining their own personal wealth.

Build a fence around California, and give the state and Arnie and the Rich lazy illegal hiring folk, back to Mexico.

And keep their whole mess out of the the US.

Didn't you know they have a propensity to prosecute American Citizens for identity fraud or theft in this country. I as a white male, American Citizen would get 5-10 in Pelican Bay for such a stunt.

We need to quit this running thing. Where has it gotten us? I understand why people here have left, and are leaving California, but the buck stops here. It sends the wrong message to the enemy. They are celebrating the fact that we are leaving the Golden Land, and just handing it over to them. They will see this as a strategy on the national level. The other Southwestern states look like California too. Soon there will be nowhere to run. We need to take a stand somewhere, and I am not going anywhere.

I agree. I have lived here my whole life and won't run, what does it solve? Nothing because it definitely sends the wrong message that they can make us leave and thus they get their way. They are like small children who throw temper tantrums, don't give in because then they know that they can get what they want that way.
I may be sick and tired of hearing spanish and people asking why I don't speak it. But I sure as hell am not tired of saying I'M AMERICAN AND HERE IN AMERICA WE SPEAK ENGLISH!

If CA is lost---whose fault is it?? Who elected the gutless officials who cater to PC and IAs? I certainly didn't. I live in another state (GA) that has its own problems with Illegal Immigration but they work hard to resolve the issues and we are making headway.

Oh yes--most of our officials are American citizens, not Fifth Columnists planted by the Zaptatitas over the years to infiltrate and sabotage our country.
Just because your name ends in "z" or a vowel does not mean your loyalty is to your ethnicity. It must be to America. All elected officials take an oath of office that a number of them do not obey.
