    azwreath,

    Maybe they consider it savings.

We used to have that here too. Some people would pay themselves their set savings amount and then pay the rest of the bills. They seemed to think they came first.

    Can you imagine?

    Isn't this the California way?

The state has been on a rapid decline since Gray Dufus was in office....actually before then-but I was too young to pay attention. Makes me wonder when is enough enough??
TOTALLY the CA way! Aka the Democrat way. sheesh.

How bout we just give CA to Mexico and see what happens. We can make this an experiment for the rest of the 49 states. I would so love to do that, except that our border will be more. Sheesh.

Your's truly has predicted that this would happen, sooner rather than later. California's economy is about to go into a free fall and requests for money and new taxes will come out of the wood work. This is just the beginning and a sad reminder of the sheer stupidity/pandering of California's government.
Gosh, it feels good to be right once in a while!

I'm glad you are enjoying your so called "predictions." Since when has Texas been the model of efficiency when it comes to eradicating the illegal invaders? Have you ever been to Houston or El Paso, or perhaps Dallas? Isn't there some Texas mayor who is suing the Department of Homeland Security along the Mexican border, seeking an injunction to prevent the border fence from being built in that town? Texas is not far behind California and for anyone to gloat over so called "predictions" seems somewhat hypocritical given the shape Texas is currently in.

Not saying that California does not share some of the blame here. However, the people of this state tried to avoid this exact scenario when they passed prop 187 back in 1994. You can thank the 9th circuit and then Gray Davis for not having the backbone to challenge that courts decisions when he took office.

If I was being overly sensitive/critical then I apologize in advance.

I don't think you are being overly sensitive....but TXborn is right as far as California goes. I get angry when some people say they wish it would fall into the ocean or that we should just give it away to mex. There are still LOTS of people here who don't want this to happen. I am a native of this state and live about 2 miles from the hospital I was born at. My spouse and kids are also natives and born at the same hospital. This used to be one of the best places in the world to live as far as I'm concerned...it's very sad to see the state falling into disarray...the rest of the country won't be far behind. Anything that happens here will be in your backyard soon.

    azwreath--

I am one of those Americans who came late to the table, as I believe most Americans have. I was unaware of what was happening to our country. I didn't notice the changing complexion of America. I mean that literally as well as virtually. When I finally woke, I was surprised, no,shocked at the numbers of Spanish speaking people I encountered every day. I started paying attention and over a brief period of time did a lot of reading and came to a few conclusions.

Conclusion one: This invasion is far from random. It is planned.

Conclusion two: In the case of Mexico, the government is complicit.

Conclusion three: Many unethical businessmen welcome it. ( at the expense of American workers.)

Conclusion four: The current American adminstration is fully aware and complicit in the plan (Globalization, open borders)

Conclusion Five: Those I thought were conspiracy freaks aren't.(All part of globalization and New World Order.)

Other observations: Increasing numbers of consulates esp. Latin American countries and Mexico in particular. The construction of the matricula ID and its acceptance by American banks and businessmen.

In WW2 there was much talk of and activity by people who infiltrated America with the main purpose of helping to defeat us. This was referred to as the Fifth Column. It is in America today and it is strong and powerfully successful. Witness, MALDEF, LULAC, NALEO and HNBA among many. These organizations include elected politicians who were born here of illegal immigrants and because of the m,isinterpretation of the 14th amendment were granted citizenship. They are all part of the plot to open the borders and allow free flow of peoples . (See Luis Gutierrez.)Their confidence has built so much that in the college ranks there are professors of the same heritage and circumstances described above that are teaching their students that Mexico will take a large part of America back, They even advocate murder to accomplish this. (see Jose Angel Gutierrez) They have , wisely, infiltrated our law schools and ultimately the law oprofession. There are many who earn their living defending the people who steal into our country illegally.
It is possible we will never fully recover from this invasion. As I mentioned at the start of this post, I just woke two and a half years ago and this has been going on since 1986 or earlier.

To add to my attitude is my experience lately of finding that many people I come in contact with are pro-globalization, pro-amnesty. I confess to starting to slip down the slope of depression. A good friend of mine who came , originally from CA and visits each year told me he doesn't even read about it anymore because he feels he, me and many others have no voice and cannot do anything about it. This gets me even more depressed.

Our young people (20s) see it and ignore it. They may b---- about it a little bit. My son has two friend who work through temp agencies. They told me, about 6 months ago, it is at the stage now where the peopl at the agency are Hispanics and give the best temp jobs to Hispanics, (We are not suppose to notice that many of them look short and dark and cannot speak English. It's a crime.)

Conclusion six: Unless we wake and take action, unless we rid our public offices of panderers to these third world invaders, unless we enforce our rule of law, we are lost. I think many may feel I go too far, but I also feel we should remove any from office who have violated America and their oath of office by aiding and abetting the invasion and takeover of America. Churches should lose tax-free status. Those who attained their citizenship via the misinterpretation of the 14th amendment should be declared ineligible to hold public office. They should also be forced to take an oath of loyalty to the USA. (True Fifth Columnists will anyway, so that may not be too effective.)

I believe that if these things do not happen, America, as we love it is lost. I believe that, soon, an act of violence, under the accusation of racist or bigot will occur ansd there wil be riots or blood spilled. Some Ameircans live in lala land, They fail to recognize that this nation was founded and freed through violence. We must take action to prevent that, if it is possible. It can be done peacefully via attrition through enforcement and the upholding of our laws by our castrated, globalist government.

Sic, I've lived in Texas all my life and have traveled to the far reaches of the state. I travel WEEKLY to El Paso and into Juarez for business. I would rather not but have to put bread on the table. You are right...Texas is right behind California if we don't put a stop to this. I will admit I have other reasons that I'm not fond of the government in California. Gay rights gone beserk, San Frans seeming hatred of American traditions like the Boy Scouts. San Fran's attempt to belittle our military men and women, thumbing their nose at the government. LA's refusal to protect their citizens and allow IA's to take over the schools, etc, etc, etc. I guess California is just too liberal for this Texas boy and I have always felt there is an anti American feeling throughout much of the state. Maybe I am a redneck and don't even know it! Anyway, I realize that much of this is a sign of things to come for the other 49 states if we don't do something dramatic to stop it. I can't understand though why Californians sit back and let their once beautiful state go down the toilet? I want to see them fight like hell to take back their state!!!
