I second that.

This is a big topic on the John and Ken Show today and they think Chertoff is full of it.

I'll beleive it when I see them deporting them by the truck loads.

We should ask him how many illegals his office estimates will be left after a Guest Worker Amnesty? If he is talking tough about deporting EVERY illegal, how many is he talking about?

Holy smoke. I can't believe this. If this is TRUE, bump GWB's ratings up a notch. We need to use positive reinforcement wherever and whenever possible. It is the only way to train them. When they do something bad, withhold what they like, when they do something right....reward, reward, reward.

Even if it is just talk....it is the right talk. It's a beginning !!!!

Jp, I read some other things on the forum. I see, the trap, that I fell into.
Thank God there are people to watch out for people like me who fall into traps easily. I probably would have been one of those people who would have bought land in the Everglades back in 1920's only to find out that it was all swamp land.

Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said his department aims without exception to expel all those who enter the United States illegally.

There is an exception that you could fly a 747 through: they'll deport them as long as they're not from Mexico.

This is where he gives the game away:

Our goal at DHS (Homeland Security) is to completely eliminate the 'catch and release' enforcement problem, and return every single illegal entrant, no exceptions.

Catch and release doesn't apply to Mexicans. Vicente wouldn't like it.

So now we know what they were working on all summer.
