That is the problem with overpopulation - more energy consumption bringing more air pollutants & breaking pipelines destroying our lands & waters, more loss of our very important eco-system by habitat loss & pollution and of course more food demands with more pesticides and animal waste runoffs. We could loose our clean drinking water, air & land in several ways.
The wolf was eliminated before and waters fouled due to their prey, elk eating all the greens near the waters - water undrinkable, filled with bacteria. They want to delist the wolf from the Endangered Species list purely to use their designated territories for FOR BIG GAS, OIL, MINING, RANCHING - $$profits.
The rich polluting ranchers that pay pittance to use our public lands, want the wolf killed off and our great American symbol of the West, the wild horse, rounded up and slaughtered in mexico for human consumption there and abroad; more wild horses cruelly held in holding pens than wild on their lands. All on the taxpayer too - BLM run. OUR WILD HORSES have designated territory, not for ranchers or energy polluters, as does any creature on our Endangered Species list. How extraordinarily selfish to eliminate species for profits.
While causing extensive environmental damage, public lands ranching offers few benefits, even to those in the livestock business: only 3% our nation’s beef supply comes from federal public lands and only 3% of American ranchers are federal grazing permittees—many of whom make little to no profit despite annual federal subsidies totaling at least $133 million annually.
In 2014 Wildlife Services (FWS) REPORTED killing over 2 million native animals including 520 black bears, 305 cougars, 796 bobcats, 322 wolves, 61,702 coyotes, 454 river otters (390 unintentionally) and 15,698 prairie dogs - we pay for that. Double the human population in the USA = less habitat space for creatures, less clean, green areas that are vital for a livable, healthy environment.

They will not address human overpopulation but encourage it by enabling over breeding and making the taxpayers pay for it too.
More consumers is the ultimate goal - "chamber of commerce" a big pusher. And world wide, the globalists, same theory. So anti-environment - it doesn't make sense to discuss global warming w/o addressing the need to curtail overpopulation. Over 7 billion and growing wildly.
Back in the 70's (this examples how far back this open border agenda goes) a very rich donor (last name began with a G) to one of the environmental groups, I don't remember if it was Sierra Club or another one - he told them, either your drop discussion of overpopulation and its results or I will stop contributing.Last edited by artist; 01-03-2016 at 02:54 PM.

There should be plenty of cheap labor to build that wall, make the illegals work to build it at the penal system rate of payment before they are sent home. JMO
