World Net Daily has a history of making phony claims about Obama's birth and citizenship. I cancelled my subscription to it a long time ago because I couldn't take it seriously any more.

On the issue of Snopes, while I applaud their efforts and use their service often, I do not fully trust them after my first hand observations of how they distorted the story about the term North American Union popularized by me, Dr. Corsi, and Lou Dobbs.

I have also been told, and would appreciate anyone that can find the truth of these claims, that the owners of Snopes may be both Democrats and funded by George Soros.

If this is the case, their research about crazy emails about people getting mugged by mysterious bandits could be trustworthy while their reports on issues dealing with Obama and the NAU may not be.

The SS Number in the World Net Daily article being cited as Obama's is 042-68-4425 and not the 045-26-8722 you are citing from Ancestry.com as belonging to a Jean Ludwig.

Most people no longer accept WND as a reliable source of REAL news.
They have some great articles, if you don't care if they are true or not.

snopes, in my opinion, is not a reliable source and I never go there for info on anything.

While some may think it's a hoax, I do not. It's there in black in white for all to read.
