Yet, no hardship has deterred millions on this dangerous journey because of what waits on the other side of the border, which is jobs. To remove that attraction, the government would have to get tough not on migrants but on those who hire them.

This is what I've been saying all along!!!!!! The only way to really get rid of all the illegals in this country is to go straight to the source of the problem, the people who hire them. If they can't get (steal) a job, they will ALL have no choice but to leave.
