Something rings hollow about this story.

Something about this story doesn't ring true to me.

Why would anyone hire los Zetas, the paramilitary arm of the Gulf Cartel, which operates in Texas - specifically, the Laredo sector in south Texas - to smuggle terrorists to Fort Huachuca, Arizona?

Smugglers operate within structures of turf and franchise (la plaza); knowledge of local trails, passages, and safe houses; and connections in government and law enforcement. This Fort Huachuca - los Zetas pairing sounds like competing in a bass tournament in South Carolina with a fishing guide imported from Arkansas. A little far-fetched.

But it's not impossible. Stranger bedfellows have joined forces in this war.
One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.

Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.

The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!

Could it be because the folks being smuggled are "military types" and they want to be treated with the respect that other military types would afford them? Maybe the regular people-smugglers don't have or wouldn't have the same reverence for their "station"? Also, if they have $20k per person (or equivalent arms) to pay, they can "afford" the "best". Wouldn't it be more feasible that they'd actually "get across without a hitch" if the military arm of the cartel (and all the connections that they probably have) were to be the ones responsible for their safe travel?
    Just surmising ....
Illegal immigration and the war in Iraq have 2 things in common:
    1. Nationalize expenses 2. Privatize profits

I'm new to debating illegal immigration but have years of experience investigating what appears to be rogue financial fraud and the money trail but is really well supported by our government.

I saw that MinutemanCDC_SC replied that something doesn't ring true well like I said I'm no expert on drug gangs but know about Central/South American debt burden and the Socialist/Communist La Raza, Reconquista movements.

These people in general are convinced that we have wealth they deserve to have and our Capitalist way of life places them in subjection.

In order to destroy the European invasion and subjection they seem to feel justified in waging economic and social warfare on us with with a combination of playing on our sympathies and allying with the left who accept them and at the same time creating a debt burden for the U.S. which will diminish our standard of living.

I does not seem that a drug cartel that was smart, patient and methodical enough to gain power would throw it all away by attacking the U.S. especially the U.S. military.

It seems far more likely that Islamic, and various American Hispanic factions like each other or not have a common enemy European occupation of what they view their homeland and they have joined forces and are testing the waters.

Other possibilities are our government wants them to attack as an excuse for national ID, and or implementation of NAU. Perhaps our government wants an excuse to gain control of South American oil in case Russia and China take control of Mideast oil fields.

Perhaps our government wants to create terror to convince us to accept a common economy.

Most likely based on financial fraud research the primary goal of financial interests is to create a high debt burden and cheap labor.

I far underestimated the level of lending fraud and it took years to determine the level of corruption and have learned organized criminals are not stupid and usually have an exit plan, it would appear as if something similar is going on in this case.

The millions of Anti-U.S. perhaps combined non-Hispanic, non-Arab anarchist/communist elements even here in S. Cal alone could do a tremendous amount of damage to the economy with coordinated attack.

I know here in L.A. LaRaza and anarchist/communist elements have joined forces I believe ms 13 may be involved as well.

The really scary part of this story is its lack of coverage by the Mainstream Media.

    hahahahahaha

i heard about this article from a neighbor,,, or one similar as reported on a mexican radio station here in nuevo laredo.

after picking myself up off the floor (from laughing) i proceeded to locate the article.

i copied and pasted it pretty much the full article along with all credits on my blogsite at http://www.xanga.com/mejicojohn.

i took the liberty to pick it apart along the way. as i suspected,,, i found comments to the article as ill informed as the article itself.

there are drug cartels in mexico. they have been known to do battle here in nuevo laredo amongst themselves. they are in no way connected to any muslim terrorist groups nor would they be.

it amused me to see the pic depicting shaved muslims (ive seen the same pic here on several articles) of blatently not being muslims nor mexican nationals,,,, they are obviously us citizens and my educated guess are members of the mexican mafia,,, a prison gang dominating a lot of prisons in the us. which most are imprisoned for drug use rather than drug distribution.

some stories are way beyond belief,,, and this is one. the only part i found that could be believed is the part where it admits it could be a gulf cartel joke on the sinaola cartel,,,,, hahahahahahahaha. a standard mo.

the gulf cartel pretty much controls nuevo laredo, i have heard (mind you, this is hearsay only) the particular neighborhood i live in is dominated by the sinaola cartel. i do not partake in the distribution or using of any form of drug unless my dr. recommends it and i purchase my medicines from a reputable pharmacy or have the va send them to me, therefore i have no deliberate conversations with either of the cartels members.

i suspect i converse with members of both cartels daily.

living in the only area maybe controlled by the sinaola cartel,, that would make these muslim terrorists my neighbors,, i have noticed none.

due to the past clashes of the gulf cartel and sinaola cartel here and the reporting of such along with travel alerts to nuevo laredo the population of this area has shrunk dramaticaly. nuevo laredo is a port city. most of the manufacturing has moved to china,,,, factories have closed,,, all of the downtown area has always depended on tourism,,, gone,,, there are few tourists here any more.

when i first moved here a place to stay was hard to find,,, it was in fact a rather booming city. it has become just the opposite and every other dwelling is for sale or rent. vacant.

i have been here close to 10 years. i know my neighbors,,, the entire colonia,,, im not just refering to next door neighbors,,, i go for long walks just about every night visiting with people along the way.

yes,, i would notice new , strange people, who could probably speak spanish even less than i do. i dont care how closely they shaved their heads or beards.

sure, its a big city,,, but news flies on birds wings,,, if i did not meet them face to face,,, i would have heard about their presence.

i am not a fan of illegal immigration, i am not an advocate of amnesty. quite the opposite.

since i have been here so long, i have in fact gathered a family here. as my wife is married to a us citizen, she can not even get a visitors pass to accompany me on required trips to the us for whatever purpose.

when i feel the urge to travel south into mexico,,, it requires about 15 minutes to obtain a permit for me to do so. papers have to be in order tho,,, you dont just travel around in mexico without mexico knowing who you are and what your doing.

somehow i feel mexico has a better grip on immigration than the us.

mexico has many problems,,, the issues in this fairy tale article are not part of them.

mexico has freedom of religion, therefore there are muslims in mexico.

their numbers are few,,, and they are not massing in nuevo laredo.

i went into pretty good detail (i think) ripping this article apart on my blogsite... feel free to look at it.

by inciting the people of the us with terror threats,,, the us government is tightening its grip on us citizens,,, their goal is not to keep the first mexican out of the us... their goal is to control its own citizens,, (see the proposed passport laws)

the wall may be built,,, when it is manned,,, the guns will be pointed north, not south.

if there is a tree in front of you,,, step around it,,, or cut it down,,, you may get a view of the forrest.

hahahahaha,,, i know,,, this article is really not funny,,,, worry will only turn your hair grey tho,,,, hahahahahahahaha.

and all the serious replies,,,,, hahahahahahahahahaha

im a friendlly fellow,,,, give me a shout,,,, come see me,,, ill show you around. you will be laughing with me.

    Welcome to ALIPAC mejicojohn

If you are in the Laredo War Zone, we would value your counsel here. Some of our people are moving into the area to support Glenn Beck's effort to bring attention to the atrocities against Americans in Laredo.

We would appreciate your perspective from the ground.

Who is running these major cartels that are fighting in Laredo? Who is behind the curtain?

if i am in the laredo war zone

i am,,,, i do not consider it a war zone. its my chosen home. it used to be,, (a war zone), things have quieted down. i dont believe ive even heard a shot for over two years now.

during the height of the "war" the number of innocent bystanders injured in the frey could be counted on the fingers of one hand. i can direct you to at least one article where a zeta (i believe) hit man botched up and injured innocent bystanders in monterrey. he has since begged for extradition to the us to pay for his crimes of murder.

he is not fearful of outside intervention,,, he knows he has committed a mortal sin. you do not harm those who are not your enemy. his own will take him out.
    http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcont...n.3641590.html

again, if you read the article, you will find he is a us citizen. glen beck is way off track. missing americans in nuevo laredo are missing because of their ties to the drug trade. not because they are us citizens.

there are atrocities to us citizens here. normally brought about by the us government.

the us citizens glen beck is in search of are dead,,, and disposed of,, and good riddance.
to the relatives,,, i would say,, im sorry,,, but they should have known, and in most cases i would suspect, did know. that however is not information released to the media.

    now heres a video i shot. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=P5spzUL8Re0

shortly after the first song,,, about 3/4 into the video you will see (if you watch it) a real missing us citizen in mexico. totaly lost and helpless. i found her behind a locked gate at a house with no water and no supervision.

a stranger came to my house asking for a glass of water. he said it was for the little girl across the street who was begging for water to drink from passer byers.

i had been aware of her before, and worried about her altho her mom was usually at the house.

i extracted her and took her home with me. and worked it out later with her mom. she gave me custody (of sorts). the mom being an illegal alien at the time of her birth in laredo, made her a us citizen. the documentation is firmly locked away at the health department in laredo and not accessable by me nor any other interested party.

i fashoned a birth certificate with my computer to get her enrolled in kindergarden. she is among those involved in the discussion of citizenship by birthright. in the meantime,,, she has no rights in mexico as she is not a mexicn citizen.

i urge you to watch the video and tell me,,, what fault of this is hers?

at the end of the video,, its a parade,,, you can see my youngest son,, he would be the gringo.

who is running the cartels? hahahaha,,, if i knew, i wouldnt say,,, see the video,,, i have more to take care of than myself. however,,, i in fact dont know,,, nor will i ask.

who is behind the curtain? i thought everyone knew that,,, calderon. coming down hard on the gulf cartel and turning a blind eye to the sinaola cartel,,,, what does that tell you?

i myself supported obrador,,, as much as a gringo can support a mexican politician. i could not,,, nor would not vote.

calderon of course was supported by the gulf cartel,,, my sources here are pretty rock solid. hahahahaha,,, i cannot elaborate.

relating back to the attack article,,, if something needs to be protested at this point,,, it is the meridia initiative.

    done before,,, end result,,, zetas.

this will be the same. they will take the training, and the supplies,,, and run to the money.

it is not because they are bad people, it is because they have family as do you and i. they want a life for their family. they will take what they have and follow the money.

back to my lost us citizen again. her mom,,, and the moms bf sold heroin. i knew that. i worried what may happen when someone came for them. less than a week after i extracted her, someone did. got the bf,, the mom escaped and went into hiding....

who came for them? zetas. why? selling heroin to mexicans. heroin is for export only,,, not to be used by mexicans,,, in their words,,, its for gringos and blacks only.

they just beat on him and took him to prison. he has since been released,, and also ,,, since dissappeared.

what would have happened had (my new daughter) been there at the time? if not physically, emotionally?

mexico is a trip,,,, hahahahahaha,,, ill grant you that. i like to be nuetral on the subject of immigration,,, both sides are wrong. fox was determined to put all mexican workers on us soil,,, he made no bones about that.

both sides are wrong, wrong,,,, wrong.

but,,, hahahahahaha,,, i guess thats human nature,,,, but radical muslims,, again are not massing here. i guarantee it.

Personally, I think all these messages from bin Laden are a crock of horse hockey!

Someone would definitely have told where he is by now. Don't kid yourselves. Arabs love money just like the rest of the world. They aren't going to run secret messages for some nitwit for five or six years without someone telling his whereabouts.

So why wouldn't they do that to a reporter, somebody who's really trying to lead the charge? So my question to you is who do you believe? I have really credible sources saying this is not true from the Department of Homeland Security, really credible journalists who say not true. Didn't happen, old story. Really credible journalists on the other side saying absolutely true. Congressmen saying yes, hello, and there's more to it. So who do you believe?

I invest my time and abilities in fighting the invasion on fronts where I know the facts from first-hand observation or on-site participation.

There are plenty of verified fires to put out before going after a probable fire that probably has flames behind all that smoke.
