Nice job, Cliffdid...we need to stay vocal and call out these traitorous cretins at every turn they make.

This is a sad day in America and a sad day for Americans. I thought it was the job of government to protect your right to freedom of speech, none of the other towns thought twice about sending out riot police, this is not good for these people to scare Americans out if their right to free speech!! This is only going to give them more power!!

Okay, here's the deal.

MS-13 gangmembers do not call the police to let them know that they are going to shoot anti-illegal immigration activists at their rally.

Paul Streitz and the rest of you have fallen for an old leftist goon tactic. The commie goons were the ones giving these MS-13 threats to the police. They do the same thing here in Los Angeles, again and again. This spring the police were telling us that 10,000 illegal aliens were going to attack us if we marched. Do not fall for this B.S.

Most police departments will try to discourage us from having a rally because it requires additional manpower and they would rather go about their business as usual.

The police used these phony threats to scare paul Streitz into not having his rally or having any rally in the future and it obviously worked.

The only thing for these patriots to do is to have a rally, put aside their fear, and don't get fooled again. If they don't have a rally, all I can say is that Paul Steitz is a worthless leader and I hope someone else with some balls will step up to the plate and that Paul will get out of the way.

My main concern about the local decision to cancel this rally is that it hands a victory to the Goons for calling in threats.

Now, that they backed down in Lakewood, NJ we can expect more threats like this since the opposition has been handed a positive reinforcement for making them.

Therein lies the dicotomy of the two sides. Ours, being comprised of law abiding, pro-law enforcement citizens, will abide by a town's or police forces request to cancel a rally because of proposed threats. The other side, laughs in the face of any law or agency promoting the rule of law. They would welcome any confrontation and would, in fact, initiate it.

Well then maybe we should have a rally and let them come, when they get there we will have all men well trained and just returned from Iraq, of coarse in street cloths and of coarse some of are brave men who are not in the service , an all man march!! we will find out just how brave these thugs are with out woman and children there!!

I've been to rallies and protests all over Southern California for the past 2 years. Some police departments are cooperative and others are not.

The police knew damn well that these threats were not legitimate and that they had a Constitutional right to assemble. The police intimidated Paul Streitz and convinced him to go away. Paul swallowed it, hook, line, and sinker.

They need to get their butts out there and have a rally right away.

The leftist goons will show up like they do everywhere else, but there won't be any MS-13 or Latin Kings showing up to blow people away with the police standing right there.

Yes, the goons have foul mouths and they like to push people when they get the chance but that is why we carry pepper spray.

Most of these goons are empty headed college kids with soft bellies.

Deb, you're right and our government claims they don't negotiate with terrorists. If MS-13 is not a terorrist group, I don't know what is. They threatened to terorrize the ralley. Yet our government caves in to them. Organizers should not have to depend on funds for security, they should have had their rights protected..they just didn't want to go to the trouble, proving their laziness. Look what happened in Waukegan..loads of enforcement showed up. That's what should have happened here.
