Bill Frist's Interview With Sean and Alan

This is a partial transcript from "Hannity & Colmes," Oct. 25, 2005, that has been edited for clarity.

ALAN COLMES, CO-HOST: Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (search) recently took a trip to the border with Mexico. And today, he announced that the Senate will consider immigration reform (search) legislation as early as February.

This forces onto the agenda a story that we've been reporting about all year. Sean has taken three trips to the border this year, one to Arizona, one to Texas, and New Mexico, and one to California. All along the way, we've been stunned by what we've seen.

Joining us now, in an exclusive interview to tell us about the new plan and why the federal government is finally ready to do something, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist of Tennessee.



SEN. BILL FRIST, R-TENN., SENATE MAJORITY LEADER: Good to be with you, Alan.

COLMES: I know that Chuck Hagel (search) has a plan. We know that President Bush has a plan. Where do you stand on this?

FRIST: Yes, Alan, I was just on the Texas border a couple of weeks ago and it really drove it home to me that we need to act and we need to act pretty quickly, as quickly as possible.

As you know, the president signed a bill last Tuesday, which took a good first step increasing the number of border security agents, stressing the importance of detention and encouraging new technology. But now is the time for the legislative branch to act.

And my announcement today was that in the very early part of next year â€â€

Yep....clear as mud and as Wishy Washy as it could be. And oh how I wanted to use my tomatoes. This is the leader of the US Senate. And he says his state is "hugely dependent upon immigrants" and most he "hopes are legal" but he clearly doesn't have a clue one way or the other. All he knows is he wants them and he's gonna figure out how to get them and make them legal every single one.

That is their "cure" for illegal immigration. Legalization. Which is the same as Amnesty.

Not once, not ever have any of these people ever mentioned the status or condition of the American Workers, the millions unemployed, the millions in poverty, the millions working for minimum wage which with our standard of living is slave wages.

Not once did the Wackident mention Americans. Not once did The Frist mention Americans. Not once has McCain or Kennedy mentioned Americans. Not once has Kyl or Cornyn or Hagel or any of the rest of them mentioned Americans.

WE are already a forgotten people and merely a "force" to be "managed".

Don't Spend, Save and when the GOP fund-raisers call--tell them you're a Republican, if you are; tell them you're mad as hell, if you are; and then SLAM that phone down. All this "attention" is the result of the poor fund-raising effort weekend before last. I suspect it did not go well and those telemarketers (fund-raisers) got quite a cold reception.

Even then, look at what we're getting....Wish-Wash. More pressure, more cold receptions, and more slams are required. Not a dime until the troops are on the borders and visible verifiable enforcement of existing US Immigration Law is underway. All they undestand is money, so keep it in your pocket.

Don't forget Judy that those telemarketers was calling from India, where that job was outsourced.

Judy you are so right. I don't know what I was mad about more last night, listening to Frist spew his Bush-like swill or listening to Hannity and Colmes toss one after another a bunch of softball questions toward Frist. Not once did they take him to task on his double talk. If he brought that Shuck and Jive to shows like Michael Savage/John and Ken/Terry Anderson, George Putnam, Roger Hedgecock etc they would have ate him alive and he knows it. What's up with Hannity? He asks like a couple of questions about this issue and then he goes on about other issues of less importance. This is why I've stopped listening to that fraud a long time ago. Hannity is better than Rush, but just like Rush, he doesn't stick to the issue long enough.

Bill Frist is a fraud. Him and the rest of his cohorts in DC are just plain clueless. We don't need a guest worker program. We don't need these illegals here. There is nothing the illegals do that we have any use for. They are nothing, but criminals. Deportation is the only answer. Listen to the American people for a change and stop listening to Karl Rove and his criminal cohorts in the Beltway. Who's side are you on Frist, America or Mexico? Stop displacing American workers with these parasites. The American people are who put you in power, NOT THE ILLEGAL SCUM.
