Thread: Some fear checkpoints may target illegal immigrants

You have nothing to worry about if your not driving drunk or operating a vehicle without a license! What does legal status have to do with it? That is unless your suggesting that illegals have a propensity to drive drunk and/or operate a vehicle without a license.

If that's what they are suggesting, then it appears as if they feel illegal invaders should be allowed to engage in such activities with impunity!

If an officer comes upon a person(s) in the performance of their general patrol or special enforcement duties and has probable cause to believe a person is in a state of conflict with the laws of their jurisdiction, or any larger enforcement agency, that officer is sworn to uphold the laws and constitution and by definition is duty bound to enforce same.
