Thank Chertoff. The program was great until Chertoff pressured him to turn it into REAL ID. So much for federalism.

You know guys, there are other states that give out licenses out to illegals like Washington. The problem with that is, you will look out of place lol.

i'm trying to get my dl from wa this winter, my uncle lives there
i checked the wa dmv website, but i read that you need i-94 on your non-expired passport
i could always renew my passport, but i wonder if i really need the i-94 can anyone help me?
also, will i really need all those forms to prove my residence there? would bank statement suffice?
i am anxious, but determined to drive this winter!!

This is EXACTLY why Barasso's bill to punish states for this pandering is so essential.

These pandering, rogue governors like Spitzer, Corzine (NJ), Blagojevich (IL), O'Malley (MD), Gibbons (NV), Richardson (NM), Huntsman (UT), and especially Gregoire (WA) have to be stopped, and a cut off of financial
aid is the most effective means.
