GeorgiaPeach - I was asking if anyone had a list of the 30 some conservative "Blue Dog Democrats" in the House of Representatives for us to begin contacting if the Senate bill passes. It has been stated that tax breaks added to the Senate version may cause conservative Demcrats who voted for the House version to vote against it on a second vote.

This might be better as a 2nd thread if the bill passes the Senate.

WHY ARE THEY WAITING THESE EVIL MEN, THEY THINK THEY HAVE IT IN THE BAG, WHY HAVE THEY NOT VOTED YET??? WHAT IS THE HOLD UP......ARE THEY STILL BULLYING THE HOUSE? COME ON TRAITORS SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT!!!!

I think they're playing political games with this bill. If McCain votes for this bill with all the earmarks in it, how's that going to look for him, seeing he said he's never voted for an earmark. (He did vote no on the earmark, but it will be in the bill) Maybe in the end he'll vote against the bill because of the earmarks. It would be a good political move for him because he could tell the people that Congress wants earmarks so bad, they're willing to jeopardize an important bill to rescue the economy. And Obama voted yes on the earmark.

Oh, my God, I'm even beginning to think like them.

I am calling now and reading off some of these earmarks and extenders to their voice mails and saying "Do you call this a clean bill" - 6 pages of Exxon Valdez, wool research, American Somoa, wooden arrows, auto racing tracks -

I now have a headache.

I mean, EXCUSE ME. But what made lawmakers think Americans want to spend money looking into "Auto racing tracks", "wooden arrows" and "Wool" that has been around for thousands of years?

Texas2Step, if I misunderstood or overlooked a post I apologize. The list of the 30 Blue Dog Democrats may reject some of the garbage. Let see if we can get these Representatives' names listed. A new thread would be fine.

Is this a current list - I recognize many of the names.
