    McCain MUST be stopped.
So, you think throwing your support to Ron Paul is going to stop McCain?

    Hmm...interesting. Keep hope alive.

    Paul

It's not that I don't like Ron Paul, because I do, and I like a lot of what he represents. But many in this country just see him as a joke, I seriously doubt he could beat hillery or osama.

We are in a fight for this country's life, literally, seriously. I hope everyone truly understands how serious this really is!

Regardless how much people love R Paul, he is not going to win, and we need to have someone who can go up against the dems, who will end illegal immigration and all the benefits that go along with it. Someone who also understands economics and can start to turn the mess bush has made of our economy around.

And, I am truly sick of the CFR BS, show proof of membership or stop saying that! Some of us Romney supporters could start on Ron Paul, but you notice we haven't. Play fair, we are in a fight for the future of this nation. That should be more important than anything else.
Actually, Paul did come in second in Nevada, I believe.

I think Romney is the best choice left. Not just because I think he can win, but also because I think he can get nominated. I know that should be a given, but I feel obligated to state it.

I want to think that the last senator to be nominated was JFK. This is mainly because when the rubber hits the road, people like to support someone who has managed something.

Governors tend to do well. They've managed economies. They've participated in micro environments that seem to mirror the responsibilities of President.

So, although I like Ron Paul. I won't vote for him. 1) I do not believe he can be nominated much less elected. 2) He's got a lot of great ideas, but in my personal opinion, I can't find any experience in managing an economy, or running a city or state, etc. 3) Romney has a lot of great ideas. 4) Romney can be nominated. He has won states. That's what a candidate has to do.

I was willing to take a chance with Duncan Hunter. Clearly, he turned out not be a winning candidate (in the minds of the people who have voted so far. If I can't have my heart's choice, then I'm left to go with my head.

Thank goodness, Duncan removed himself. True patriot until the end. So, this supporter is now a Romney supporter.

The race is Florida I believe is definitely going to be between Romney, McCain & Guiliani. Huckabee is headed to Georgia. He clearly believes he stands a better chance winning there.

In Florida, only Republicans can vote. In Florida, its winner take all (delegates). The winner will ride that momentum into Super Tuesday. Or, at least they're hoping they will.

I think eventually Huckabee will be out, also.

It'll come down to McCain and Romney in the end. Unless Guiliani is hoping to hang on until New York. But, I think his lead has slipped even there.

The primaries are supposed to be about voting for the best candidate, not voting for the candidate that you think will win.
How do you know the voters in the first few caucuses and primaries were not voting for the one they thought was the best candidate?
[b] If we do not insist on Voter ID, how can we stop illegals from voting?

USA, I wouldn't worry about the CFR talk. Let it go. There's no need to bury Ron supporters. I mean, think about it, USA. Have a heart. Its coming down to the wire now. Time takes care of most things.

Ordinarily, I'd agree. But, with McCain looming over my head. I think Romney is the best offensive move I've got.

In working for Romney, we are working for the only candidate that will allow us a seat at the illegal immigration table. No, he's was not my first choice, but I know we don't have the luxury to stand on principals this election. Every step forward we've worked for, we'll loose, if anyone else is elected. Please take a moment to comment on one of the sites below if you can.

Here is a GREAT post that someone posted on one of those sites.........It is a GREAT post to copy and paste under other articles!!!

WAKE UP REPUBLICANS / CONSERVATIVE / MODERATES!
MITT ROMNEY IS THE BEST CANDIDATE
--He was at the TOP 5 of his class at Harvard (MCCAIN was in BOTTOM 5 of Naval Academy).
--He is awesome with people (without having to being a joker).
--He is EXPERT AT RESCUING failing organizations (OLYMPICS, ETC.) and makes them successful.
--He is awesome at getting things done in organizations.
--He has the best plan for the ECONOMY, stimulus and illegal immigration (unleash economic capital, reduce the burden on OLDER AMERICANS, ILLEGAL ALIENS need to GET IN LINE like everybody else).
--He knows how to deal with the BIG ELEPHANT (China).
--He has worked with top business leaders in over 40 FOREIGN COUNTRIES (foreign experience)
--He has been a chief EXECUTIVE (McCain is an old Washington insider)
--He WANTS TO REALLY STRENGTHEN OUR MILITARY.
--He is PRO-FAMILY and PRO-LIFE. (Both McCain and Huckabee have flipped AND flopped on taxes, illegal’s, spending, etc. MCCAIN personally FILED BRIEFS AGAINST Right to Life to shut them up near an election).
--He has only had ONE WIFE, 5 kids.
--He WON the Evangelical vote in Nevada and Michigan.
--He has WON the MOST conservative, republican VOTES in all primaries so far.
--He has the MORE DELEGATE VOTES than the others.
--Reagan did NOT win in SC either.
--He will not embarrass us like Clinton did and McCain does.
--He is being GANGED UP ON by both MCCAIN AND HUCKABEE (a moderate pack against one conservative).

    WHAT DO YOU WANT?
--PS: HUCKABEE: FREED 12 MURDERERS to kill another innocent and PARDONED 1200 CRIMINALS to rob and steal again.
--PS: Huckabee – HIS restructuring our tax structure is a side show. CANNOT HAPPEN. Where is the beef?
--PS: Huckabee – BILL CLINTON RETREAD. He has the whole Clinton Kit: slick talker, attacks others religion, raises taxes, thinks constitution should be a living breathing liberal document, from Hope AK, 12 ethical charges filed against him, wants Americans to subsidize illegal aliens college instead of your kids, likes to play a guitar.
--PS: McCain – supports AMNESTY, rejects tax cuts, parties with Hillary and Kennedy and other liberals.
--PS: McCain – WANTS PEOPLE TO SHUT UP TALK RADIO. That is CALLED THE MCCAIN-FEINGOLD LAW. McCain authored and passed the first successful, major shut-up bill in the history of the country. McCain-Feingold was ABRIDGES FREE SPEECH AND TALK RADIO. It limits freedom of expression for citizens and lets George Soros-type billionaires to pool money into anti-conservative defeats using a big loop-hole like 527s.
--PS: McCain – HAS TURNED HIS BACK ON CONSERVATIVES MANY TIMES. Loses his temper, gets mad easily, TAKES PRIDE IN snotty and snide remarks to fellow republicans.
--PS: McCain – TRADED MILITARY INFO TO GET BETTER POW TREATMENT.
--PS: McCain – MAY NOT MAKE IT THRU ONE TERM—he is 70+ years old
