The Palin family values the sanctity of life. They talk the talk and walk the walk. It is driving the Left absolutely insane beyond the farthest reaches of unhingedness. Now comes the news that 17-year-old daughter Bristol is pregnant. “Newsâ€

Yes this kid should be left alone. There is no reason a young woman should be subjected to intermittent mentions between Hurricane Gustav reports. Is there nothing else in the world going on, like Iraq, Afghanistan, nor the floods in India with about 70,000 missing and dead, etc.

I agree. Leave her alone. This is not a scandal!

The "next" was just on the news. Apparently Sarah's husband had a DUI twenty-some years ago!!!!!!!!!! The details will probably be spread far and wide by tomorrow.

It doesn't matter that Obama has been a druggie (and no one knows if he ever stopped), or that half of congress members have had DUI's and worse. Obama's mom wasn't married when she got pg was she?? She was all of 18 when Obama was born. Even Bush was an alcoholic.

On the same news show just now, they palyed a tape of a drunken Biden running his mouth...sounded like he was at a bar.

Wow, they're really reaching ... if the only "skeleton" Palin has is a daughter taking responsiblity for herself and her child, then the Dems must know they're in trouble.

What's next...Slick Willie was only "consuling" Monica, Edwards was really only "sharing" the compassion he has for his wife with another woman, Obama didn't inhale-snort-shoot any drugs-he was "only in their vicinity" and Biden did't really plagarize since he was "only repeating" the wonderful thoughts of someone else.

Obama is a socialist regarding his economic outlook and a marxist in regards to America.

Each year millions of American families have to deal with this same situation, so it would be unfair to bash Palin over this. Her daughter is to be commended for choosing life.
I will say it does seem like karma, given she ran for governor on a platform that included abstinence only, and no sex education. McCains decision on her seems troubling for a couple reasons. Is he hoping women will be able to identify more with Palin, and vote for him because of it, or did he just not know, and is now saying he did. Either way it seems he is trying to guarantee a win at all cost.
The question becomes "are women really as stupid as McCain thinks they are..."

The good news is, she is not having an anchor baby.
