Highlander, you are wasting your time. Remember, for some, misinformation and misdirection is the name of the game. To these people, facts mean nothing. JohnDoe knows very well that the eligibility issue isn't about Obama's status as an American "citizen" but about his status as a Natural Born Citizen (NBC). He deliberately chooses to ignore the constitutional requirements for POTUS, the reams of research independently collected and the dozens of lawsuits that have been filed.

But every law suit that has gone to court has been thrown out of court, have they not?

It may make him an American citizen but it doesn't make him a natural born citizen. In order to be a natural born citizen, and thus eligible to serve as POTUS, BOTH parents must be American citizens. In this case, that burden has clearly not been met.

I could care less about the birth certificate because it's irrelevant to the fact his father was not an American citizen.

That's the issue.

IMHO...It's because they have not addressed the proper legal issue as yet. Why they keep wasting time on the birth certificate is beyond me. If they would simply focus on obama's father it may get somewhere.

Anything is possible, but that's a pretty big "what if," based on everything we know at the moment. Why would Obama claim a non-US citizen as his birth father if in fact his real father were a US citizen? Unless your suggesting Obama doesn't know who his real birth father is.

In addition, if the real birth certificate has already been released, it should have listed who the birth father is. Pretty easy to put that "what if" to bed if in fact the birth certificate has already been released.

Last time I checked my birth certificate, it had my fathers name listed on it, as should Obamas.
