Good question TEXLEGAL1. We should coordinate to make sure our voices -- the voices of the American citizenry -- are heard. I assuem there will be an e-mail annoucement and thread etc. I plan to start early.

I noticed some open at 8:30 others at 9:00 .

I keep calling in-between cooking, taking care of animals , gardening compost and phone calls .

I am calling to urge the Senator to vote NO on the Dream Act Amendment attached to the DoD bill. I too have a dream! In my dream my elected officials put the needs, wants and desires of the American citizen and legal resident of this country above those of the illegal immigrant who broke our laws to enter this country. In my dream my elected officials build the border fence and secure our borders, enforce our immigration laws and put an end to the jobs magnet. Please vote NO on the Dream Act and help my dream come true!

WE STILL NEED YOUR CALLS! We must keep up the pressure on our Senators to oppose the DREAM Act. Our Senate sources tell us that the proponents of the DREAM Act are still going office to office to see if they can scrape up enough votes to amend the measure onto the Department of Defense Authorization Bill (H.R.1585). Unless you call your Senators and insist that they oppose the DREAM Act, deals will be made behind the scenes and the DREAM Act will pass.

I've been calling and faxing all weekend. Will start up again bright and early tomorrow morning when I'm back at work and can be online and on the phones at the same time. Until this is over, my homeschooled kids will be getting comprehensive lessons in civics!
