I told her I was aware he had voted against amenesty in the past and I was concerned he has not come out strong against this one. So far, I have Dorgan saying he is against it. one other activist confirmed it.

Boxer said she was against it, but I am leary.

Yes, glad you are here! There are several threads going because WE are all fired up and ROARING as loud as possible!!!!

Got in touch with Byrds office . She said he is usually against it, but hasn't made up his mind et ! I told her he is suppose to be 'serving' us, not making his own decisions ! And he should not need time to decide if he is going to help destroy this nation !

She said she will let him know that I vote NO on this .

Anyone else need a push to vote like an American ?

my two cents---

Just made a call to Byrd's office as you suggested and the aide told me he was a strong advocate against amnesty and I urged that he stand with us in this fight again.
