Meghan McCain Wants Ron Paul & Mitt Romney in Her Tent?

Published on May 28, 2012 by TheJoshTolleyChannel

Meghan McCain brings up the "Big Tent" idea in politics. While there is strategy to that, if the strategy doesn't match the best interests of the people and the Constitution, the bit tent theory actually allows the damage we all want to prevent.

RINO McCain's daughter would love to delude the Republican Party more than it already is

Republican NLRB Member Accused of Leaks to Romney Campaign Resigns

    Ron Paul 2012

Terence Flynn, the Republican member of the National Labor Relations Board accused of leaking information, has resigned.

The inspector general of the NLRB found that Flynn passed confidential information to two former Republican members of the board, including one of Mitt Romney's labor advisers.

According to a statement from the NLRB, Flynn's resignation is effective July 24, but he is recusing himself from agency business until then. Since Flynn is currently a member under a recess appointment, he is also withdrawing his nomination.

Sunday: Chairman Pearce informed NLRB employees of the resignation and, on behalf of the entire Board, thanked them for their "hard work and commitment to excellence through even the most difficult circumstances." He intends to issue a statement after communicating with the staff on Tuesday.

Flynn has denied any wrongdoing. Investigations into his actions continue.

Paul's Nevada GOP party is the real deal. It is the De Facto Party.

    Delegates

Romney is trying to set up illegal, non-constitutional, non-legal Republican parties beside the real Republican party in Nevada. Romney in this way is trying to USURP Ron Paul and his fairly won delegates in Nevada and possibly in other states where he Romney will also set up "shadow parties" to try to usurp Ron Paul in those states where Paul fairly won delegates . This is a coup that Romney and his lawyers are trying to pull. Do not let his shadow party be called, De'facto. It is not the real deal. See here the definition and meaning of "De'facto": De facto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Possibly at the Republican National Convention, there will be a vote as to whether to accept Romney's "shadow parties" or not. Beware. And the present NRC chairperson Prietus will most likely second it. They might even try to get just the RNC chairperson and committee members of each state to approve or not approve beforehand. Beware. Let's check the rules carefully to see what they can and cannot do.

Conflict of Interest: Dimon is CEO of JPMorgan and Fed Board Member

Conflict of Interest: Dimon is CEO of JPMorgan and Fed Board Member

    Posted by Charleston Voice, 05.22.12

While the outrage by public persons over Dimon is certainly justified and commendable, the real solution for our republic is for the people to demand of their House representatives the Federal Reserve be abolished and money creation be the responsibility of the US Treasury under the Constitution as intended?

Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co. is a serving member of the board of the Federal Reserve Bank.

Dimon was given his seat on the Fed’s board in 2007. He has enjoyed his position throughout the financial crisis that his and several other mega-banks have caused through irresponsible behavior on the global stock market.

Dimon is the only banking executive to serve two masters.

Along with DImon, the New York Fed board includes CEO’s from Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, Solway Bank, heads of Macy’s Department Store, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and representatives from Columbia University.

Senator Elizabeth Warren wants to see Dimon resign from the Federal Reserve Board. She told CBS , “I’d like to see Jamie Dimon, for example, resign from his position as a Class A director of the New York Federal Reserve Bank. The banks cannot regulate themselves.”

Will South Dakota voters rock the nation and send message to the establishment?

With the mainstream's agenda of pushing Mitt Romney down Republican voters' throats even though no one has clinched the nomination yet, will South Dakota provide some much needed push-back by coming out in droves in favor of the other candidate still in the race, Ron Paul?

Although it barely made a whisper in the national news, the fact is that the very first state that had polled Ron Paul in first place was actually South Dakota. This was way back in December when there was still a crowded field of challengers in the race. While a poll that old cannot be relied upon today, it is certainly an indicator of support that could be seized upon if there is a significant effort put forth by grassroots activists reminding voters that there are still 2 candidates left in this race.

The truth is that the Paul campaign has been racking up endorsements throughout South Dakota over the past week. Although the most recent comments made by Sioux Falls City Councilman, Kermit Staggers is not an official endorsement, it has gone mega viral over the last few days. In a recent op-ed written by Staggers in the Argus Leader, one of his last sentences has sparked the already burning flame of anti-establishment activism throughout the state.
If Romney wins overwhelmingly, the message would be that state Republicans are satisfied with their party’s presumptive nominee. But if Paul wins a large percentage of the vote plus delegates, the message would be that Republicans are not satisfied with Romney and/or that the cause of freedom and liberty still resonates in the hearts of South Dakotans.
The last line in that quote has been translated into a dialogue of: "Show the nation that South Dakota still fights for freedom and liberty. Vote for Ron Paul!" Possibly, nobody else could have done a better job at starting that message than South Dakota's own "Dr. No". Current Sioux Falls City Councilman Kermit Staggers earned that nickname while serving 8 years in the State Senate. You might say he was the "Ron Paul" of the state legislature fighting against unnecessary spending.

Ron Paul's campaign has acknowledged 2 official endorsements from South Dakota recently. State Representative Jon Hansen of Dell Rapids stated, "Ron Paul's consistency and integrity goes unmatched in today's political environment." On the complete opposite side of the state, Rapid City Councilman Jordan Mason stated in his official endorsement, "I stand for strong fiscal policy. I stand for solving our problems at home before we try to solve other countries' problems abroad. I stand for liberty and I stand for the American dream. And so I stand for Ron Paul."

Meanwhile, the grassroots efforts are also fired-up. There is a new unconnected PAC called "South Dakota for Liberty" that is currently having a major moneybomb going on throughout this weekend hoping to meet their goal of raising at least $25,000 in order to help get out the vote. In just one day, they have already raised over $9,000.

A Sioux Falls meetup group has been engaged in door-to-door canvassing. The PAC has recently opened-up an office in the downtown area which is located at 220 S. Phillips Avenue for the purpose of phone banking and to organize grassroots efforts.

If there is one thing that South Dakotans still love, it is to fight their way into the national spotlight. With that said, I hope that South Dakota voters choose to ROCK THE ESTABLISHMENT on the 5th of June!

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney chose Veterans Day to proclaim to the American people his conviction that the world is a dangerous place, and the United States must remain its most formidable military power.

"The world is not safe," Romney told veterans on Memorial Day. He was joined by Senator John McCain, in a speech to honor the veterans of America's wars.

Ron Paul Real Plan VS Mitt Romney empty Promises

Published on May 28, 2012 by djgabrielpresents

While Romney said his tax plan would not add to the deficit, he didn't offer specifics as to how he'd pay for his newly proposed tax cuts. Absent those offsets, the CRFB roughly estimates that his plan could add $2.6 trillion in debt, boosting debt to 96% of GDP by 2021.

    Ron Paul's plan

Debt over next decade: Reduces it by $2.2 trillion, lowering debt to GDP to 76%.

Costliest proposal: Get rid of various income taxes, such as the Alternative Minimum Tax and taxes on investment income, Social Security benefits and tips, at a cost of $2.5 trillion.

Biggest cost saver: Reduce many parts of non-defense spending, such as eliminating five federal departments including education, commerce and energy, saving $4.5 trillion.
Interest costs on the debt: Lowers it by $300 billion.

RNC Legal Counsel: Delegates are unbound, Ron Paul poised to win the nomination

Submitted by LadyHawk on Mon, 05/28/2012 - 23:31
    Daily Paul Liberty Forum

"In what may be the most stunning revelation of the ongoing GOP presidential nomination process, it has been discovered that in 2008, the RNC Legal Counsel legally interpreted the RNC rules and concluded that all delegates, regardless of state party rules, could vote for whomever he or she chooses at the Republican National Convention.

This legal inquiry by the RNC was the result of a delegate's desire not to vote for a candidate who did not represent his principles.

The significance of this legal interpretation by the RNC lawyers is that all delegates are free to vote for any candidate regardless of any such “binding”.

Because the RNC was the organization that conducted this legal examination, THEIR RULING TRUMPS ALL STATE GOP RULES."

RNC Legal Counsel: Delegates are unbound, Ron Paul poised to win the nomination

In what may be the most stunning revelation of the ongoing GOP presidential nomination process, it has been discovered that in 2008, the RNC Legal Counsel legally interpreted the RNC rules and concluded that all delegates, regardless of state party rules, could vote for whomever he or she chooses at the Republican National Convention. This legal inquiry by the RNC was the result of a delegate's desire not to vote for a candidate who did not represent his principles. The significance of this legal interpretation by the RNC lawyers is that all delegates are free to vote for any candidate regardless of any such “binding”. Because the RNC was the organization that conducted this legal examination, their ruling trumps all state GOP rules.

In the past, “bound” delegates have attempted to vote for a candidate they were not “bound” to and not once have they been disallowed. Not only is there credible legal interpretation of this scenario, it has been found that there has never been a “bounded” delegate forced upon his or her will to vote for a “designated” candidate by his or her state GOP party. This ruling has the potential to unseat Mitt Romney as the "inevitable nominee" with Ron Paul supporters winning delegate positions in multiple states. Paul supporters are also becoming delegates that are "bound" to vote for Mitt Romney as we saw recently in Massachusetts where out of the 19 delegates allocated, 16 are known Ron Paul supporters. The consensus is that if a candidate wins the primary popular vote, that candidate is awarded all delegates.
“Jennifer Sheehan, Legal Counsel for the RNC, plainly stated in a letter to Nancy Lord, Utah National Committeewoman, several weeks before the convention, 'The RNC does not recognize a state's binding of national delegates, but considers each delegate a free agent who can vote for whoever they choose” - Legal statement by the RNC Legal Counsel
Take it for what it says, “The RNC does NOT recognize a state's binding of national delegates, but considers each delegate a free agent who can vote for whoever they choose.” This ruling was made by the legal counsel which solves disputes and issues regarding these types of scenarios within the Republican Party. However, recently there has been another legal analysis by a grassroots Ron Paul support group, Lawyers for Ron Paul, which interpreted that the ruling in 2008 still holds true.
“No delegate or alternate delegate shall be bound by any attempt of any state or Congressional district to impose the unit rule” - The Rules of the Republican Party. Rule 38, the Unit Rule.
The RNC rule book states that no state can impose a binding on any delegate. This rule is coming from the official rule book of the Republican Party. Therefore, the Party should be holding these rules in effect.
“Intimidation, threats, or coercion No person, whether acting under color of law or otherwise, shall intimidate, threaten, coerce, or attempt to intimidate, threaten, or coerce any other person for the purpose of interfering with the right of such other person to vote or to vote as he may choose, or of causing such other person to vote for, or not to vote for, any candidate for the office of President, Vice President, presidential elector, Member of the Senate, or Member of the House of Representatives, Delegates or Commissioners from the Territories or possessions, at any general, special, or primary election held solely or in part for the purpose of selecting or electing any such candidate.” - 42 USC 1971 - Sec. 1971. Voting rights.
The Republican Party is aware that the majority of the delegates being "allocated" are Ron Paul supporters and they are taking legal action. Just a few days ago, the Massachusetts state GOP sent out letters to all delegates and included a legal affidavit requiring the delegate to sign and state that they will vote for Mitt Romney on the first ballot at the RNC convention. This action proves the fact that the RNC legal interpretation of 2008 holds true. Due to this action, the state GOP of Massachusetts has made it self-evident that all the rulings made above are still in effect. The Voting Rights Act of 1971 makes it clear that one cannot “intimidate, threaten, coerce, or attempt to intimidate, threaten, or coerce any other person for the purpose of interfering with the right of such other person to vote or to vote as he may choose.”

The delegate system of the Republican Party is a key check and balance to the "tyranny" of democracy (majority decides all) and a counter to the trend of unchecked corporate spending in contests. If a candidate wins a state primary but does not have supporters willing to show up to become delegates for his or her state, that is indicative of a candidate with a complete disconnect with the voters. In this day and age, the delegate system is our main countermeasure to money in politics because despite running million dollar ad runs left and right, it is all about the delegates. Now that these legal statements by the RNC have been found, the outcome is in the hands of the delegates and with Paul supporters occupying delegate slots in state after state convention, Paul has the chance to overturn the consensus that money can buy elections.
