Since our government is not stopping illegal immigration and no fence has been built, I want to know why they are not doing the will of the people. Maybe it is time that we get grants from corporations to do the job. The elite politicians live in large homes with protection. They have a lot of money and could care less about our welfare. To them, we are peons and they continue to do as they please. While people are speaking about our brave military and counting the dead, I wonder if they count the Americans killed eash day in this country or if the give a damn. Time for another Boston Tea Party and time to let these hoodlums who are ruining our country understand they are suppose to be working for us. Jobs are lost, schools are sliding to a new low, seniors are in dire straits and our healthcare is being slashed-all due to illegal immigrations. These politicians talk the talk but never walk the walk. Time to throw them all out and start only with those who will do the will of the people.

WELCOME EARNWINGS. What we can do as a group is call, fax, and never let up on our Congress members and Senators. IF we are quiet they think we don't care any more or we've become lazy. That's why we never let up on them.

We need to become a NEW LOBBY. We need to become the LOBBY OF THE FORGOTTEN MAN. The American citizen. I bet they don't ask lobbyists their addresses and zip codes when they enter their offices.

We need to go to town hall meeting and ask these questions. McCain has a good record on ear marks and fiscal reform, but he is for open trade and might build the fence but would want amnesty for the other 12 million. The Dems are becoming more against open trade, but they will do nothing on illegal immigration. Obama wants to even give them driver license. We need to keep working on each town, each city, each county,and each State. Pretty soon they will have no where to go. Keep the faxes and phone calls going and get everyone you know to do the same. Only big numbers scare them. They will do any thing to keep their jobs. Don't forget this year is an election we must get behind every candidate that is against illegal immigration and against NAFTA< CAFTA and outsourcing. The Congress and the Senate make the laws and spend the money. A whole lot of them need replacing. We can do it.

Treat visa's like a license. They have to be renewed or they expire! Use the 6-month expiration date.

Why do we Americans have to pay more for things like turkey for the holidays? We now ship them to India and China so WE pay more? Stick it to them not us! Do the Iraqi pay more for gas? NO! If the country is closer it should cost less. I realize now the gas prices have kicked in but that's another issue.

Start impeachment processes for Bush and his whole administration. Be ready for when the dirtbag leaves office. I mean, EXACTLY what does it take to be impeached, besides sex? He has ruined a once great nation and made us all vulnerable to any 3rd world country.

They don't take care of the people and puts all their wealth into arms and ammunitions. We should be ready for North Korea, Venezuela, China, Russia, Cuba, and Iran, to band together and all take us on while we are spread thin and sinking fast. That's what I would do, if I was them, and hated or were jealous of us. They can invade our computers, borders, toy safety, food and many more areas. We are stunned and frozen from all the mess Bush has us in now. Would we snap out of it if attacked by those 6 countries? We are so overwhelmed , we are in survival mode.

If border fences do not work - WHY has 23 million U. S. taxpayer dollars been "given" to Egypt to build a fence (yes a fence) between Gaza and Egypt. Plus sending OUR Corp of Engineers to help design and build. ( I guess since they have so much experience in building border fences here, their expertise is valued)

Are they going to enact tough fines and JAIL TIME for employers of illegals who knowingly hire them? AZ is a good model for this situation.

Are they going to REQUIRE E-Verify for all employers in all states? It's a joke that it's currently voluntary and only 15% of companies utilize it. Wonder why...

We need more boots on the ground, more holding facilities and transportation. More money for enforcement.

Also, from HR4437, make illegal entry a felony.

Catch and Release is still a problem. Enforcement at the local level needs to be increase and supported. Funding receives passage but does not get placed in the budget

How would you enforce laws already on the books, regarding illegals?

Will you send out no-match letters? Will you fine more employers?

Are they willing to come down hard on companies that hire illegals with huge fines and do whatever it takes to stop this practice?

I think we should do more about Drug and DWI convictions or a communicable disease. I think they should be mandatory deportable offenses/circumstances.

Will they stop the "Social Security Totalization Agreement" with Mexico already agreed to in 2004 if Bush signs it?

Elderly that will almost automatically benefit from Social Security are not acceptable either.

Will you work hard to cut off all benefits to illegal aliens that encourage them to cross our borders?

And, I'd like to see a federal law passed that would make ALL CITIZENS come up with PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP OR LEGAL RESIDENCY or NO WELFARE, HOSPITAL CARE, FOOD STAMPS, ETC.! Tax dollars should be spent on Americans, not illegals.

Deal with churches and agencies that aid and harbor illegal aliens.

Will they make Catholic Charites sponsor all refugees instead of dumping them on the cities and states, retroactive to ALL refugees currently here? They can sell some of the gold steeples to afford it! Or maybe rent rooms in the Vatician. How about Vatician Condos?

Will they make it against the law for the churches to police their own church? It has to be turned into the police.

Will they TAX all churches involved in politics in the past , up till 2006, retroactive?

Can we get rid of the Cuban wet foot dry foot policy ?

Can we have visa's with an expiration date?

Will you support a 10-20 year "NO Immigration" policy until we can secure our border and track down those whose visas have expired?

Moratorium on Visa increases due to the fact that Visa overstays are responsible for approximately 40% of the illegal aliens in this country. If you can not insure an exit of a guest worker, then don't make the problem worse by increasing the crevasse for which illegals enter.

QUESTION: Would you support a cessation of visa issuances until the U.S. can institute a system to track these individuals to ensure they leave when their visas expire. If we con't have a system in place to ensure they leave, we should not bring anyone in under a visa until we do.

Immigration should never-ever fast track a citizenship application. Many exceptions for security, background or health checks. I don't care if there is a so called backlog. That's just too many people applying and not a backlog of processing legitimate applicants.
An alternative, as proposed by other ALIPACers is for the individual requesting a visa is to have them post a $5,000 bond to receive the visa. If they do not abide by the terms of their visa and depart when it expires, they forfeit the bond.

Work hard to Stop the abuse of all of these VISAS...that cry for foreign workers because they want cheap labor!

I'd like to ask the candidates if they would support creating a panel of citizens to execute oversight of trade agreements? A panel of people who would be nominated by other citizens to review and comment on the impact that trade agreements have on America's Citizens and their impact on workers in other countries. The objective of the panel would be to identify and object to trade agreements that are not demonstrably in the best interests of American workers and consumers!

I would ask the candidates if they would support Legislation requiring American Companies be shown preference when granting federal contracts.

Will you repeal both NAFTA and CAFTA and institute "fair trade" agreements that benefit the USA rather than foreign countries?

Will they STOP other countries from buying up America?

Will they mirror import fees?

Refuse to vote FOR ... FREE TRADE agreements that hurt American workers and our country as a whole

I would like to meet a candidate(s) who would explain to me exactly HOW NAFTA, CAFTA and other 'free' trade agreements are good for the United States and Americans. Then I would ask how fast would said candidate(s) pull out of these types of 'free' trade agreements.

I would ask the candidates what assurances they can offer to American Citizens that they will prevent State governments from asserting eminent domain, depriving Citizens of their property, in order to enrich private companies or enhance state revenues. The job of any government is to protect the interests of the people they serve. Government should not be allowed to operate "revenue" centers in order to fund programs or practices that the Citizens have not voted to support. The construction of unwanted toll roads (the TTC) and the conversion of federal roads to toll roads under the control of state and private companies are the specific concerns U would seek to address.

Will they support the NAU and The NAFTA uperhighway?

How do you feel about an illegal being able to sue a city or town?? What would you do to make sure this never happens again?

In addition to these questions, I would like some type of timeline on everything, and also some type of "Priority List" on what the candidate deems most important to 'fix' first.

I want to know if there's a candidate born yet who will work exclusively for Americans, for the good of our country instead of working for corporate interests and socio-ethnocentric interests.

Will they stop Foreign Nationals from being immune to any laws in America?

Question: Illegal immigration is the most significant issue of the time because it impacts all the other issues Americans care about: the war on terror, the economy, health care, welfare, education, social security, the environment, transportation, crime, language, and culture.

The magnitude of the problem and the costs Americans bear because of it are enormous, yet the truth about the issue and its current and future impact on America is intentionally hidden or, worse, mixed with half-truths and racist innuendo, especially in the mainstream media. The majority of presidential candidates purposely avoid it.

Amnesty and a pathway to citizenship are unpalatable to most Americans because they reward with citizenship those who have broken a multitude of laws to attain residency and avail themselves of the rich menu of social services provided to all residents regardless of residency status.

What will you do, if elected, to ensure that our laws are enforced, our borders are secure, and the incentives to migrate here illegally are removed: jobs, welfare, birthright citizenship, and chain migration?
