    Regardless of Reagan's reasoning, it wasn't the smartest thing anyone ever did for this country and it was the snowball that created the landslide of illegal aliens.

    Wanting reasonable trade policies that benefit the United States is not isolationist, but he wants anybody who supports a policy beneficial to the United States labeled as an "isolationist".

    That wasn't meant to be a swipe at liberals, because I am sort of liberal on some things. But, that is generally how they debate.

    I completely agree. I was just pointing out that the 1986 amnesty was a little more extensive.

    Friends;

    Fixing healthcare? How about stopping illegal immigration that is skyrocketing healthcare costs? How about ending birthright citizenship - so that millions of illegal Aliens stop having illegal costly healthcare babies just so they can anchor a stay in the U.S.? Healthcare insurance cost?? -- illegal Aliens.

    If America is addicted to oil then....President Bush and his Corporate masters are addicted to ILLEGAL cheap foreign labor.

    Time to change, Employers, --- do what's right---pay the wages, deny invasion, don't endanger your beloved American economy with open Border Terrorist possibilities --- build up the U.S. and peoples lives instead of ruining peoples lives racing to the bottom. Change -- eat the cost, pay the wages--- share the wealth. The rich get richer--that is what you get with Republican leadership which is now worse than ever - full corporate oppression and wanton greed controlling the country.

    NOTICE how President Bush said in his speech -- "some Americans don't want or like immigrants". No Mr. Bush, not immigrants, it's ILLEGAL ALIENS is what Americans dislike with every Right to.

    NOTICE that President Bush went on to say--"America NEEDS immigrants to function"---that's the whole game plan --- keep the illegal Aliens coming to hit critical mass where the "Corporate addiction" to illegal alien labor is utter dependency and catastrophic breakdown of U.S. social fabric results in rioting much like what France recently experienced with Invader (unassimilating) Muslims.

    Heck, who cares Mr. Bush---It's all about the money; that's all that is important is money, right?? President Bush applauds hordes of illegal Aliens now pouring into New Orleans as day laborers swarm illegal employers' cars. The President continues to 'bone' and pour salt in New Orleans wounds, harming America in general. Lets' remove the U.S. flag and redesign it as green with big dollar signs.

    So let's see, Bush's logic-- foreign countries welfare, well-being and security needs to be taken care of at America's harmful expense in order to make America more secure and well-off. How about the U.S. President actually taking care of U.S. Homeland and National Security?? -- that might make the U.S. more secure rather than giving away America.

    Horrible speech that meant nothing, other than TEAR DOWN THE U.S. for greedy corporate exploitation and then subjecting the U.S. to UN control.
    W. means worst.

    A lot of talking about doing things for the rest of the World. Actually doing something, anything FOR the U.S. is NOT isolationism.

    IMPEACH THIS NATION WRECKING BASTARD NOW AND GIVE THAT VILLAGE IN TEXAS BACK IT'S IDIOT!
    Let me correct that notion. The Bush family is NOT from Texas...they were originally from Maine.

    Texas doesn't WANT them....LOL...
