Comments on President Bush's State of the Union Speech
As usual no distinction over whether immigrants have accepted and respected our nations own democratic immigration policy.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

No reference to the continuous assault and invasion on our border, or over 200 military incursion at our border. But we are sparing no effort to securing Iraq. Extensive justification of his efforts to reauthorize Patriot Act to limit rights of American Citizens, but no acknowledgement of the 20 million or so illegal aliens.

"WAVE TO YOUR LEADER! CHEER FOR HIM! SHOW YOUR LEADER HOW MUCH YOU CARE!"
This is what was said at his last inauguration from an announcer as the bushmobile approached. I didn’t watch. What’s the point? I will catch it on yahoo tomorrow.I stay current on Americans for Legal Immigration PAC's fight to Secure Our Border and Send Illegals Home via E-mail Alerts (CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP)

01-31-2006, 11:18 PM #7We hear claims that (illegal) immigrants are somehow bad for the economy - even though this economy could not function without them.
America has created 4.6 million new jobs - more than Japan and the European Union combined. It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS BY THE PRESIDENT
United States Capitol
Washington, D.C.
9:12 P.M. EST
The American economy is preeminent, but we cannot afford to be complacent. In a dynamic world economy, we are seeing new competitors, like China and India, and this creates uncertainty, which makes it easier to feed people's fears. So we're seeing some old temptations return. Protectionists want to escape competition, pretending that we can keep our high standard of living while walling off our economy. Others say that the government needs to take a larger role in directing the economy, centralizing more power in Washington and increasing taxes. We hear claims that immigrants are somehow bad for the economy -- even though this economy could not function without them. (Applause.) All these are forms of economic retreat, and they lead in the same direction -- toward a stagnant and second-rate economy.
Keeping America competitive requires an immigration system that upholds our laws, reflects our values, and serves the interests of our economy. Our nation needs orderly and secure borders. (Applause.) To meet this goal, we must have stronger immigration enforcement and border protection. (Applause.) And we must have a rational, humane guest worker program that rejects amnesty, allows temporary jobs for people who seek them legally, and reduces smuggling and crime at the border. Well, my thoughts, I wanted to get sick. Oh by the way, Bush will be in Cincinnati next Month.
CINCINNATI President Bush is returning to Ohio for the first time since his 2004 re-election drive.
He'll be in Cincinnati next month for a campaign fund-raiser for Republican Senator Mike DeWine. It's scheduled for February 23rd at the home of Mark Hauser, president of the insurance firm the Hauser Group.
Admission to the event will cost 42-hundred dollars per person -- or ten-thousand if you want your picture taken with the president.http://www.alipac.us/
