Here's the picture. Sorry it didn't scan well.

Perhaps you saw it, but perhaps not. But just in case others missed it, there is a second kid in that picture who is wearing mexican colors. Count over three to the left of the kid that was circled, and go up one. See it? The kid has a red, white and green banner over his shoulder.

I *can* believe that the schools allow this sort of thing to happen. I'd believe just about anything can happen these days due to PEE SEE behavior, and it makes me sick.

Your eyes are better than mine. The photo isn't even that good in the original photo in the paper.

Just sent my e-mail expressing my disgust. I hope they get buried in mail.

Way to participate everyone ....they need to hear that this unacceptable!!!!!!

Why? The Supreme Court of the United States has long-ago determined that the way the laws are written, any child within the United States has a "right" to attend public education for "free".

Do you recall Bush, when governor of Texas, suing the federal government for reimbursement of educational costs for illegal aliens? SCOTUS said no dice.

That type of litigation has gone on with many states (including Jeb Bush as governor, and I believe also with Todd-Whitman). If you want one of the pdf copies of the order, I'll post it (just need to be given instructions).

The point is, our lawmakers all know, and have know for over 10 years, that they must change the laws so that "free" education doesn't apply to illegals' children. But, they won't change the laws.

I have seen the Mexican flag so much lately I would honestly like to burn one! Of course I would probably be jailed for that since we are living in North Mexico these days.....
