HEADS UP! La Raza funding to be debated in Committee at 6:15

I just spoke with Congressmen Patrick McHenry's (R-NC, 10th district) Legislative Director. She informed me that the La Raza funding bill ($25 million) H.R. 1999 has been absorbed into H.R. 4051 "the Housing Assistance and Authorization Act; A BILL to authorize appropriations for assistance for the National Urban League, the Raza Development Fund, the Housing Partnership Network, and the National Community Renaissance Program, and for other purposes."

This bill is being marked up in the House Financial Services Committe tonight! Then it will be voted on tomorrow in the a.m. If passed, it will move to the House for scheduling. She said it is expected to pass through Committee and be brought to the House floor.

The Committe will be debating H.R. 4051 at approx. 6:15 pm this evening, Wedesday, November 7. You can catch the action live here:

Thanks, Rockfish. Get the word out on this bill markup. Did you notice that they dropped off the "La" from "La Raza" and are just referring to it as "Raza".

The other game they are playing is that they claim "Raza" is only a housing assistance arm of La Raza and that the $25 million will be used to enable affordable housing for "poor Americans". Yeah right!

The thing is, if La Raza gets this money, it is fungible! They will be able to use it any way they want!!!

Wait a minute. My tax dollars might be going to fund a group that wants to take my country? A Group where they openly admit they feel their RACE is superior? Are we also funding the KKK? Both groups have similar views, only the race is different.

(For the record, I find both groups nauseating)

I guess its not worth calling in now - should ALIPAC set up something for tomorrow or is it still not the right time?

Im not familiar with how far bills have to get before credible - Im worried though that this will get attached to an important bill and passed even if people are against the La Raza part. Thats what we need to stop.

I shouldnt be - but I'm amazed we have to call our congressmen to fight something this unconstitutional and unpatriotic.

They are being held hostage by the PC bullet. If they do anything against LA RAZA they may be branded as a racist

I am leaving this thread now. I am so angry I am afraid I might say something that we would all regret.
