    DONE

Dear [recipient name was inserted here],

Please do not support the Hope Fund Act of 2007 (H.R. 1999) which was
introduced by Rep. Ruben Hinojosa (D-TX). H.R. 1999 would allot $5 million in Fiscal Year 2008, and $10 million each year thereafter, to the National Council of La Raza.

It is past time for all Americans to know the roots of the "La Raza"
movement as well as the extent to which our nation is at risk because of
this organization that calls itself "The Race."

Many immigrant groups comprise the overall "La Raza" movement. The most prominent is the National Council de La Raza (NCLR). To the mainstream media and most members of Congress, the NCLR appears to be nothing more than an Hispanic Rotary Club. Nothing could be further from the truth. The NCLR raked in over $15.2 million in Federal grants last year alone, of which $8.1 million was in Department of Education grants for charter schools, schools that directly conflict with American ideals by teaching non-assimilation. NCLR continually lobbies the U.S. Senate for open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens, two issues that are against the law and that threaten our nation's security and sovereignty.

Behind the transparent "respectable" facade of the NCLR lies the true
agenda, however, the "Reconquista" agenda. This is the agenda that led to thousands of illegal immigrants defiling the streets of American cities by waving Mexican flags, stomping on and burning the American flag, brazenly defying the laws of our country, and demanding concessions. The "Reconquista" is a movement espoused by the radical, racist group called Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA), whose motto is "Fur La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada" translated, "For the Race everything - outside the Race nothing." This group is not shy about their goals or their views of other races. Their founding principles are contained in "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan." Miguel Perez of Cal State Northridge's MEChA chapter sums up this plan, "Our ultimate ideology is the liberation of Aztlan. Communism would be closest to it. Once Aztlan is established, ethnic cleansing would commence; non-Chicanos would have to be expelled and opposition groups would have to be quashed because you have to keep power."

The NCLR, its public officials, and its allies make no repudiation of this
radical MEChA doctrine. In fact, according to recent tax records, NCLR is one of the largest providers of funding to MEChA.

There exist numerous, patriotic Hispanic organizations that can capably
provide the American people and Congress necessary feedback of issues
confronting Americans of Latino heritage. The Nation Council of La Raza is
    not one of those.

    Sincerely,

This bill is in the first step in the legislative process. Introduced bills go first to committees that deliberate, investigate, and revise them before they go to general debate. The majority of bills never make it out of committee.

Last Action: Apr 23, 2007: Referred to the House Committee on Financial Services.

It is appalling that these traitors want to give la raza one cent of taxpayer money. Why should our money be supporting these scumbags?
