Koobster- I was seeing my cardiologist today and while I was in the waiting room I read about an organization that helps patients financially who cant afford cardiac procedures. It is called the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, website lkcf.org. The website shows who is qualified and even has some interviews with patients. Take a look at it.

just got back from the doctors. valve is almost completely out,

I'm praying for you, koobster.

This has obviously been a very trying struggle for you, and I hope both your family and friends are looking into all options available to you. I think there are clinical trials in Texas(heart institute in Houston) for patients with congestive heart failure, and I would guess they're taking place elsewhere, so that might be worth looking into if you haven't already. I know that many clinical trials are low cost or free for eligible participants.

Again, prayers for you. I wish I was there to give you a hug.

The doctor who was suppose to operate on me, he took a vacation, and now he has several children to operate on. So I got bumped, to the 25 th.
Now I have to get ready for the surgery again, when I am all ready for it.

Oh man, sorry to hear this koobster. As if you haven't had to wait long enough and the waiting is often harder than the surgery itself.

Sorry to hear that Koobster. Sometimes we don't understand the delays in our lives but God who loves you dearly has your life in His hands.
