This will have a grave impact on Americans.

Caterpillar itself says that it will cost them 100 million dollars, for they would have to consider the dependents, up to 26 years of age. To quote a Congress member about Caterpillar, they are in a "Swing state, with 11 percent unemployment."

Abortion funding will be included, that is more dollars.

It will be a forced mandate, or penalty for a great many Americans.

There will be rationing. There will be a board to determine costs on procedures.

Many doctors will continue to drop Medicaid patients, and at least 120 Walgreens will no longer take new Medicaid patients. Others will surely follow.

Small business especially, will have to choose between making and keeping jobs for people and paying for healthcare. I would choose to not hire, or to let go. Small businesses have families and insurance costs too.

People will be dumped on Medicaid, welfare. Example just given, "here is a library card, you then go in, and no books are there."

This is the biggest step to socialism.

As far as amnesty, keep calling, emailing, attending events if possible. Contact family and friends, and never give up.

    Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

    I think the bill stinks.

We should have a single payer plan. Just expand Medicare to cover all Americans.

But this bill is better than nothing.

Republicans offered nothing, but the same obsolute, corrupt system we have now that rewards insurance companies and no one else.

Obama is right to push this through.

At least it is a start on health care reform.

Not the majority of'Americans ' maybe the biggest majority of illegal vters in our history, but not legal voters according to the reports about illegals, criminals and voting along with some who voted several times .

We had the best care on earth for our poor before the sociaist came along . We had clinics, teaching hospitals full of good American dr.s . Before the star gazer ran the White House and her husnand gave amnesty to over 2 million illegals in 1986 who then brought in their families who now march in our streets !

Now most can barely speak english or read a script pad . Our nurses are being outsourced along with our jobs, and or enemy is feeding us !

I also understand that our government has reduced funding for teaching of nurses in the United States, and that has brought more numbers of nurses from other nations. There seems to be a great many Americans that would like to be nurses, but facilities need funding, and our government apparently works against them in favor of those outside of America.

Obama won by a landslide. Plus there were no major allegations of voter fraud of the kind that got Bush elected.

No we did not. Right now we are ranked about 55th in the world in health care right along with third world countries.

It was Reagan who gave the amnesty in 1986.

Actually we are bringing in nurses to the USA.
Take a stand or all there will be left to do is to ask the last person in the country we once called America to lower the flag one last time.

I don't want government healthcare as it makes me and every other American even more beholden to the will of government. Especially against my will.
The fact is, we are already in that situation. This bill, in the long run, will reduce our costs.

    1. Your taxes already pay for Medicare
    2. Your taxes already pay for medical care for veterans.
    3. Your taxes already pay for those who cannot afford it.
    4. Your taxes already subsidize so called "private insurane" that appears to be provided by employers, though tax breaks for companies.

So all that has happened, is the socialist system we already have, partyly direct government payments, partly indirectly government subsidizes is being made more cost effecitve.
The point is, this gives them a bigger sword against my throat to extort even more. When I have nothing left, then what? The last great act of defiance in the face of absolute tyranny?

No, it is going to have a very positive impact on Americans. Costs will go down, and services are going up.

Then Caterpillar should consider purchasing insurance for its employees at the newly created non profit exchange, eliminating the insurance company's 30% profit margin. I bet Caterpillar, even with the coverage to 26 years of age, will save money that way.

Wrong. The Bill does not permit taxpayer funds to be used for abortion and there is going to be an executive order confirming that.

Yep. The freeloaders will have to pay up. As it is now, people can elect not to buy coverage, either because they cannot afford it, or because they chose to leach off the public. If they become ill or are in an accident, it is the taxpayer who picks up the bill right now. They are medical care leaches.

Better a government board to review costs than an insurance company clerk without even a high school diploma deciding whether a procedure will be covered, and whose sole interest is profit for the compnay, which is what we have now.

Says who? Why would Walgreens no longer take new Medicaid patients? The doughnut hole is being eliminated.

Small business, under 50 employees do not have to provide insurance. But their employees will be able to purchase their own insurance, and if they are low income, can get a government subsidy.

Says who? It's not in the bill.

And what if it drives down costs as it predicted? Then your wallet will benefit.

Enacting the Health Care Reform bill should help defeat amnesty.

How many Dem Congressmen are going to want to follow up one tough vote with a second one?

When the IRS is used to enforce this with the penalty of imprisonment, I don't see that as a good omen.
