The Taliban had nothing to do with 9/11 and was not a declared enemy of the U.S. until Bush attacked them and took the side of the Northern Alliance. Bush claims that he attacked the Taliban because they refused to deliver Osama bin Laden to U.S. custody.

Americans were told that bin Laden was the target of the invasion of Afghanistan. In retrospect, we know that it was just another lie. The target was Iraq (and Iran and Syria). Bin Laden was just an excuse.

Afghanistan was a target for one reason only. The oil pipeline currently being constructed through it to the Indian Ocean. It was originally an Enron idea.

I have never heard about the poem or information before, it seems strange how it portrays Sadam Husain as being associated with Osama bin Laden when he is (was) actually a threat to Sadams regime.

Did Sadam allegedly make that statement?
I have read a few reports stating that McVeigh may have met with terrorists overseas.
