Now that's a new one....a foreign country forming its own government in OUR country, with the expressed purpose of telling us how to run things.

These people have nerve, I'll give you that much.

It is time to throw them all out of the country, one way or another. This is actually a declaration of war by the illegal aliens supported by the mexican government. How much more of this are we going to stand for?
Some people are alive only because there are laws against killing them.

If in fact these people are seeking to form a shadow Government and this is true, by default they would technically be seeking to overthrow our government.

    United States
There have been a number of attempts in the United States to regulate speech that has been deemed seditious. In 1798, President John Adams signed into law the Alien and Sedition Acts, the fourth of which, the Sedition Act or "An Act for the Punishment of Certain Crimes against the United States" set out punishments for publishing of up to two years' imprisonment for "opposing or resisting any law of the United States" or writing or publishing "false, scandalous, and malicious writing" about the President or Congress (but specifically not the Vice-President). The act was allowed to expire in 1801 after the election of Thomas Jefferson, Vice President at the time of the Act's passage.

The Espionage Act of 1917 may also be considered a sedition law of sorts, as section 3 made it a crime, punishable by 20 years' imprisonment and a fine of up to $10,000, to wilfully spread false news of the US military with an intent to disrupt their operations, to foment mutiny in the ranks, or obstruct recruiting. The act was amended in 1918 with the Sedition Act, which expanded the purview of the Espionage Act to any statements made criticizing the government. The act was upheld in 1919 in Schenck v. United States, but was repealed largely in 1921, leaving mostly laws forbidding espionage and allowing military censorship of sensitive material.

In 1940, the Alien Registration Act or Smith Act was passed, which made it a crime to advocate or teach the desirability of overthrowing the United States Government, or to be a member of any organization which does the same. It was often used against Communist organizations. The act was invoked in three major trials, one of the Socialist Worker's Party in Minneapolis in 1941, resulting in 23 convictions, and again in 1944 in what became known as "The Great Sedition Trial", of pro-Nazi figures which ended in a mistrial. A series of trials of 140 leaders of the Communist Party USA was also predicated upon the Smith Act beginning in 1949, and lasting until 1957. Although the Supreme Court upheld the convictions of 11 CPUSA leaders in 1951, the court reversed itself in 1957 in Yates v. New York by ruling that teaching an ideal, no matter how inimical that onlookers may view it to the United States, does not equal advocating or planning its implementation.

Although unused since at least 1961, the Smith Act remains US law.

Laura Berg, a nurse at a Dept of Veterans' Affairs hospital in New Mexico was investigated for sedition in September 2005[10] after writing a letter[11][12] to the editor of a local newspaper, criticizing the government. Ms Berg is now being represented by the ACLU[13].

Migrant leaders agree to create a permanent parliament in the U.S.

They require the Mexican president to denounce the militarization against the undocumented.

In a historic decision, leaders of migrant Mexicans agreed to constitute a Permanent Parliament of Migrant in the United States, plural and independent of governments and political parties of both countries, with the main task to defend and to promote the interests of the migrant that live in that territory and now they face one of terrible, racist and cruel broadside".

It approved by the full one of the first Parliament of Mexican Migrant Leaders that live in the United States, that was in session in the precinct of the Chanber of Representatives, this new intity will be conformed by social organizations and physical people that share its objective, with representations in the United States. This assembly will be carried out in the first months of 2008, tentatively in Washington.

Besides, the Mexican leaders agreed to ask president Felipe Calderon to require the American government to"halt the militarization" against the unodcumented, and to resort to all the international legal bodies to denounce the violations of human rights and the deaths in the border.

Approved by the assembly of Mexican Migrant Leaders, appointed to a committee with the representation of migrant organizations with presence in 28 states in the U.S.

The proposals arisen of the three desks that were in session in San Lazarus were approved, after surpassing the refusal of some of the migrant leaders that asked that they form part of the Institute of the Mexicans abroad (IME), linked with the federal government.

In its refusal underlies the idea that this permanent parliament would replace IME, agency that has an administrative character and is linked with the Mexican federal Executive as organ consultant.

During the recess for the designation of the commission that will organize the assembly constituent, the representative Panista Dolores González attacked the parliament. "I delcare this act closed, because this is a show that I am not going to tolerate and permit", she said in pressence of representatives. This was the second day in which the legislator declared against the efforts of the migrant parliament.

Several leaders of the initiative explained after that the agencies can function in a parallel way without any problem and aiding, with their faculties, to the migrant and Mexican community in the United States.

In the three tables in which the work of the parliament was divided, there was an large number of approaches, among which they emphasized greater presence of migrant leaders in state, federal, and legislative representations; greater resources to the network of consular protection, a special fund for the repatriation of the remainders of migrants who died on the border, reduction in the commissions of businesses that are dedicated to theshipment of remittances, greater resources for attention of the education of migrant, children, enlargement of the program Three for One, in social projects, and that the federal government believes a program of incentives that facilitate the investment of the migrant in national territory.
Sent copy to Lou Dobbs, Michelle Malkin, Judicial Watch, American Legion, The Heritage Foundation for starters, can we please get a comfirmation on this article with second source. I also beleive this warrants an ALIPAC Action Alert.

ISN'T THIS AN ACT OF WAR? DOESN'T THIS MEAN THEY WANT TO OVERTHROW THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT. A COUP D'ETAT? ISN'T THIS WHAT THE TALIBAN OR OTHER TERRORISTS DO? THE MEXICAN GOERNMENT HAS NO IDEA HOW ANGRY AND RESENTFUL AMERICANS ARE BECOMING TOWARD THEM.

War with Mexico could break out and Bush would still defend Mexico. If he wouldn't, then let him proove that now by telling Calderon to take a hike and let us see this all over the news.

This is outrageous! How many countries would tolerate such blatant disrespect?
