    They did`nt have a permit for the McCarthur Park Rally. That`s probably why L.A. Mayor Villarigosa was a no show.
    He was suppose to show up.

    We need to know if there have been any arrests, if so how many etc...

    We need to know if the altercation was brief or if there are continued clashes.

    I've seen the Associated Press turn a major school riot with over 1,000 kids fighting requiring riot police into a three sentence report about some girls fighting in a cafeteria.

    We need more info about what is really happening on the ground in LA. The riots last year broke out just after dark.

    The time is now 7:17pm in LA, less than one hour till nightfall. Are there still protesters and police in these areas?

    Unreal, Nothing on Faux, CNN, Headline news. I am in California and I can't even find anything on the local radio!
    But the heartwrenching stories about parents seperated from children went on and on all day.
