William, I don't like the idea of the tri country flag. Don't mess with "Old Glory".

The people on this board know what is going on with the merging of the three Countries, at least many do. If not keep posting the link for their plan.

I am sorry to say I don't think the average citizen knows this and most wouldn't get it about the flag. It would go right over their heads. Most have just woke up about the illegal alien problem, seeing them marching in the streets.

I think the pledge is much better and like PSG said more likely to piss them off.

OK, I am aware of the movement for a one world order - and have been most of my life.

My mom was quite the conspiracy theory lady and got all kinds of newspapers, etc. on the subject. I used to tease her about them. Now I wish I had some of them.

But - as for the flag - I respectively vote NO.

I think if you mentioned Tri Lateral Commission to a large number of Americans - the would think it was a basketball/ football/ baseball commission.

This is not to put down the American people, but most people are so busy working, taking care of kids, etc., they don't have/take the time to get involved or even think about a lot of things. While a lot of them don't like some things that are going on - they deep down feel 'everything's gonna be OK' and I vote, I pay my taxes, I obey the law - so it's gonna work.

My thoughts on the flag is that the more it is shown, the more de-sensitized Americans will become to it - and they will not be shocked or sickened by it.

Unless, as someone said - you have the 'banned' symbol on it.

I agree. I am the one who pulled it to start with. I don't find it amusing. I don't want to even THINK that anyone else thinks of the American Flag as a source of perverted entertainment, either.

I understand William's point that the vision is so revolting that it will inspire anger. But it will inspire anger against the person or persons distributing it, not toward the proper channels, in my opinion.

I think the problem with trying to mimic the European Union is, they had more DEVELOPED countries on their continent. Underdeveloped countries had to meet certain goals and political milestones before they were admitted. On this Continent you have Canada and the US to pull the whole mess out of socialism and poverty. I also think that if this continues our dollar will be worth about half of what it is now against the Euro.
