I agree. The church shouldn't encourage birth when people are unable to afford it.

Also in Mexico, parents have a lot of kids to help out with the agriculture work. And when they illegally come here to work, what kind of work do they do? Thats right. Agriculture work.
I think I am going to have to lay on the floor on this one. I could be laughing so hard I could fall out of my chair.

Here in the U.S., we no longer have children so we can put them to work. We've risen above that. We don't want to go backward in the U.S.
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

Oh I don't and I won't see all these Illegals On Farms. Then if that was so, then why is it that the Farmer are saying there Short of workers. Why because your statement isn't true. The Truth is that there taking what was Good paying Construction Jobs and Good paying Factory Jobs, Causing the wages to drop.

That's the real problem. The more illegal immigration and the hiring of illegal immigrants is normalized, the more brazen employers will be about jettisoning American employees in favor of cheap illegal labor. There was a time that homebuilders, for example, would not risk putting more that one or two illegals on a crew because one INS raid could shut down a project. Now they fill entire crews with them with impunity. The same thing is happening in many industries. As these jobs illegitimately open up to illegals, the illegals begin avoiding the harder and lower-paying jobs they were once relegated to.

In the latino culture once the girls turn 15 the parents offically have a party for the girls and they consider them full adults and have no problem with them going out having children (in fact they're happy when they do and are upset if they don't). But even if they get pregnant before that age it's still no problemo and they're all happy.

With the boys I think it's even worse with the parents turning a total blind eye to their activities.
It's funny you said this and chicano refuted it.

chicano, please explain why my 15 year old neighbor had a quincenera last summer and a baby last month? Yea, babies daddy was her escort and now her husband.

chicano answered the part about having too many children because the Catholic church wants as many future parishioners as possible so they discourage birth control.

You know what Dixie, you are right. Your 15 year old neighbor got pregnant right away, so it MUST be true that all hispanic girls get pregnant as soon as their quincenera is over. I mean, forget the fact that I know hispanic culture because uhmm, i'm Hispanic. Your encounter with the 15 year old girl that got pregnant is enough proof to conclude the horrible aspects of hispanic culture. I am sure I speak on behalf of all when I say "thank you for your interesting revelation."

I see how many of these girls who are in their teens yet have children and some are even pregnant again. They're all over where I live.

One 15 year old pregnant girl does not a culture make. However, here in Colorado, when I go down the hill into the Denver area, I see mostly Hispanic people with a brood of children. Furthermore, on the sad occasion when I had to go down to Jefferson Country Social Services, the overwhelming majority of people that were down there seeking aid, were young, Hispanic girls with at least 1-2 babies.

I believe that ANY culture that promotes a woman's PRIME objective as producing children, is living in the dark ages. I am very aware of the fact that not only Hispanics treat their women in this way. TOO MANY 3rd world cultures do.

We now have a world population of over 6.5 billion. In 1960, we had a world population of just over 3 billion. Think about the ramifications of that. It took us over 2000 years to get to the 3 billion figure. Yet, IN 45+ YEARS, WE HAVE DOUBLED THE WORLD'S POPULATION.
