Reid and the rest sure do adhere to the rules. If they would use that same adherence to rules regarding illegals we wouldn't be here.

This is getting more bizarre all the time when Sessions is cut off and not even allowed to speak. Quorum call and I'll bet you there are some heated words going on right now.

it says on the screen that there will probably be another Cloture vote tomorrow to limit debate. But who knows, this thing is changing by the minute.

Just heard that Hutchison's "touchback" provision voted down 53-45.

But per the AP, the GOP senate amnesty lovers are still trying to peddle a "touchback" scheme:

"Republican framers of the bill, seeking to sap support from Hutchison's amendment, were proposing their own, less burdensome return-home requirement for illegal immigrants to be voted on by Thursday. It would apply only to heads of household and would give them three years to meet the requirement."

They are already going to vote to table another amendment. I wonder if this is the Webb amendment.
