    Reasoning with the Unreasonable

Yuyi does not want to consider new ideas. You cannot reason with unreasonable people.

Funny that I am the only one in this website bringing the other side of the story, being attacked by everyone, yet everyone continues to just talk trash instead of listening to what I am saying. Tell me ONE thing I have said that is not true. Barkway, you think I'm educationally challenged? If so, then why is it that I EARNED the Bill Gates Millenium Scholarship, the Incentive Scholarship, the Meap Scholarship, Diversity Scholarship, Swing-Lo Scholarship, and the Comcast Leadership Scholarship? Because I'm Mexican? NO!! Because I learned to take advantage of the opportunities that this country has offered me. I looked at the struggle of my family, and see what it means to be illegal, and I decided that I would do better than that. Seeing how one sided everyone seems to be around here, I will ask one more question, rhetorical of course like my others have been. How "educationally challenged" must one be to lose a job to a person who speaks no English, has no papers, and no education?

Please ask or post on real issues/articles not rhetorical ones.

    Yuyi,

I've stayed out of this until now because I wasn't sure how to respond to you. Let me tell you this. I'm not educationally challenged, and I've lost jobs to illegal aliens. How, you might ask? Easy. Unfair wage competition.

My family has been in the construction trades for several generations. It has always provided a decent living and we always took pride in the quality of our work. Over the last 20 years, wages in the construction trades has dropped by 40%, because illegal aliens are willing to work for less money than a taxpaying American citizen. Criminal employers abuse these workers in the name of GROSS profit. American workers get left out because the employer, paying cash, can avoid paying workman's comp, Social Security, FICA and unemployment as well.

Illegal immigration is NOT a victimless crime. Working class Americans of all colors are being harmed by it. We here at ALIPAC are dedicated to stopping it. We KNOW what it costs. We've been there and done that. We don't want to do it any more.
